How To Get FREE High Quality Backlinks Everyday!
Not too long ago, I asked myself the painful question day in, day out...
How do I get a boat load of backlinks so I can beat my competitors without having to actually buy links?
It hit me like a slap in the face...
I simply needed to give people something back in return... simple, right?
We all know higher rankings are achieved by a greater quantity of links
...and the only way to get real links of benefit is to get links our competitors can't get as well.
Because, with a tool like Yahoo Site Explorer, I can see your links and get a link too! Simple!
So.. blog comments, social bookmarks... I can copy you, follow your trail and get the same results and just fight it out... not so fun.
So, I started thinking about how I could beat my competitors with a strategy that couldn't be replicated easily.
My strategy was to offer webmasters something in return which would make them actually want to put a link to my site on theirs - without money changing hands.
Hell - this approach actually went viral - there were other webmasters banging on my door actually wanting to link to me! incredible!
No longer would I have to hunt for backlinks, I simply attracted them!
I later sold the site I used this strategy on and unfortunately the buyer didn't continue actively with the site - I think I'll try and buy it back shortly.

Ok, here goes...
Step 1
I simply created a site that displayed news from authoritive sources with a professional looking design.
Step 2
I emailed all the active soccer bloggers saying..
"Hello there, I'm writing to you from Eat Sleep Football.com - We display news from many different football sites and are always looking to provide more quality news sources...
Your site has impressed a number of our editors and we would love to start syndicating your news, sending our dedicated readers to your news articles.
In return we just ask for a simple link back to the Eat Sleep Football site on your homepage.
Look forward to working with you,

I scoured many football blog directories and aimed to send about 10 emails everyday.
The response was astounding - everyone wanted a piece of the action - Eat Sleep Football really was a perceived authority in the niche.
People were keen to have their articles appearing next to the likes of Sky Sports and the BBC.
And here's when something amazing happened...
Other bloggers who obviously kept an eye on their competition started noticing the link back to the Eat Sleep Football site...
Curiosity obviously got the better of them and they headed over to the site, noticed their competitor was appearing on the site and wanted a bit of the action.
So guess what? They started emailing me directly to see if they could get listed too.
In short I said sure and then repeated the email like before to get the link back.
This is a legitimate way to get links - this a method that your competitors can't copy like a blog comment or a social bookmark. This is the real way to build links - by giving something back in return.
** I hope with this topic I've opened people's minds a bit to start letting go of the standard blog commenting and social bookmarking techniques. The reason for posting this is not to outright advertise my own script in my signature - I could easily have compiled this information into a WSO itself - there's lots of different scripts out there to add rss feeds to your site.
