Why does this blog not convert?

Hey everyone, still new to IM and trying to get as much advice from the more successful people as I can. I have a pretty serious problem with my first blog, featured in the link below. It hasn't converted a sale since the 31st of January.

Funny thing is, I know I'm getting hops. It's anywhere from 15-20 hops per day I get from this one blog, and nothing! Even though I am demoing and enjoying the product I am selling, something is not responding with my market.

I recently changed the WP theme the that magazine style that it has now, and it lowered my bounce rate slightly, but it's still a bit early to tell if this is valid. Anyone have any ideas on how I can change this site?

Well it could be many factors, It could be the the product dosn't convert, or your targeting the wrong time of market. Furthermore, 15-20 hops per day may not be enough data to make a strong decision on the product conversion rate.

So I would wait until I get some more data, however, I don't know how long you have been getting 15-20 hops per day, if you have been getting them for a long time, then I would change the product, to see if it is the product. Other, then that I would take a look at how your driving the traffic to the site, make sure you have a good market to message match.

Been getting around 15-20 hops per day since the end of January, but no sale. I know the product converts because it has a Clickbank gravity of around 115 and has been skyrocketing for the past few weeks and is currently one of the most popular products in the trading and investing niche on Clickbank. It MUST be something on my website...

It could be your keywords. If you pick the wrong keywords then your pretty much just wasting your time. Are the keyword you are targeting considered "buying keywords"?

No matter how many hops you get you can't convince people to do anything unless they are in a buying sort of mood.

I know this from early experience.

  • I looked at your site and went "eh".

Compare what you are doing to this site:

Fool.com: Stock Investing Advice | Stock Research

Now ask yourself where you would rather get your information? And why?

Are you a broker? Do you have credibility? Do you manage portfolios for clients?

The bottom line is there is nothing I saw on your site that made me want to believe anything that was posted.

It's Probably the wrong target market (traffic) Or the offer isnt that good.

People are clicking so they are intrested, so a finally resort what I would do is put a squeeze page in front of your offer so you can follow up with them.

    Hope this helps
