How can I set this up on a WP site?

INTERNET MARKETING

I have a wordpress site that I would like to set up so I can have people pay monthly for their business to be featured on my site (advertising their business for them). What should I use to incorporate this into my site so the potential businesses can click an area on my site and sign up? I don't want to send them links for paypal... my idea was to meet with them in person, give them a business card of the website and then have them go on there and sign up for a small monthly fee to be featured on the page that applies to their area. It would also have "premium" advertising if they wanted to pay a little more. Most of these businesses are not already online.

I'm trying to figure out how to set this up on my WP website from a technical perspective. Is there a plug in or should I use some type of shopping cart?

I guess, there are wordpress membership plugin you could try, paid or free, you need to test that. Try to Google it, I forgot their names.

If you doing classified style ads, then check fantasico for Noahs Classifieds.
Easy to instal and easy to use. I think you can set up 3 levels of premium ad types / prices

If you wand ads right in the wordpress blog, there is definitely a plugin that allows people to signup, place an add and checkout with paypal, it was a free plugin, so have a search on the main wordpress site, its definitely there.
