Domains are useless...

I have bought some domains... they were related to a specific launch... I failed miserably...

Dont you think that there should be a site that will buy any domain for like $2 or something...

I hate to look at them... reminds me of my failure.

so you would honestly buy any old crap like iseyt80y80346y8yt893y25.com or other ill-conceived idiocy if you had such a site??!

If you did that I can guarantee you will go bankrupt in a matter of days lol

We all make mistakes and bad choices, I have certainly, but I don't believe that simply washing your hands of such mistakes and passing the buck to others is the way to go...you live and learn

I was just thinkin... maybe the "domain people" who give them... should be able to take them back ... I do live and learn... I just dont see y I should keep the domains...

If anyone is interested... they were for the niche blueprint 2.0 launch

The greatest advantage of mistakes is that you can learn from them

Domains are not useless, you must know what you are doing. And by the way, OP, even if you failed miserably, dont let this hamper your journey to the top. After all, you have made a tall pillar of success by now.

I don't understand what you mean by that?

Frank Haywood mentioned one time that in his niche research 9 out of 10 domains have never had anything done with them. His advice was don't buy one unless you are ready to load the site today.

We are all going to make mistakes and I have some massive accomplishments in that area. The most idealistic I get these days is 'don't make the same mistake twice.' That one should be easy to remember and not repeat.

      best wishes, lloyd

        Hi,

Dont you think that there should be a site that will buy any domain for like $2 or something...
Why should there be? If they have value, the market will reflect that - as it does with everything.

I'd slap them on Sedo as parked domains, which are also for sale - put them to work in the most suitable way (time spent vs potential ROI) before they expire.

I hate to look at them... reminds me of my failure.
I understand what you're saying (I once thought like that too), but that's a good opportunity to practise adjusting your attitude (that's what I do in that situation.)

Imagine that there's a hypothetical 1 in 100 success rate or something like that. Each failure is one less out of the way on the way to that success, whether it arrives on the 47th go, the 38th or the 99th. Each failure is a 'badge' in your 'on the way to success' collection.

It would be a crazy idea to think that success can arrive before failure - to expect instant success is unrealistic. In fact I'll correct that - you should expect success (just as a golfer would condition his mind to believe that each shot will be perfect before he takes it) BUT if it is not, he will also waste no time on regret, but instead focus on believing that the next one will be pefect.

See how I turn it into a positive? That's the most important lesson here in my opinion, regardless of whether it's domains, sites, investments, business deals, friendships, lovers, golf shots, dart throws etc etc. Why? Because life becomes much easier and much more fun if your glass is half-full and you're realistic and philosophical.
