Looking for recommendations for a free (preferred) or low cost link cloaking & tracking script
> I need a simple "recommends" or "go" type link with a identifier
> I need to be able to see how many times that link has been called / clicked thru

PHP based script preferred.

    You can Try Mike Filsaime Power Link Generator.

    Now that he is selling of the PLR to this you'll find it cheaper than he was selling it for ($97) as others try and profit.

    Php and mysql based.

    Do a search for PLG or Power Link Generator and see if it comes down in price, works great.

      Ben Shaffer's Affiliate Link Bomber, hands down.

      It does a lot more than link cloaking and tracking, but it does those brilliantly, and the price is outrageously silly.

      I have used Power Link Generator for about 6 months now,
      great for cloaking and tracking clicks...

      The one thing I recommend though is creating specific
      variables to track specific url's, eg. If you post a link say
      within a blog post create a specific url for that link, don't
      just create one link with plg for your promotions otherwise
      you won't know where your clicks are coming from.

      So create specific tracking links...

      I've just started doing that so as I can see exactly where
      my clicks are coming from. You maybe knew this already I
      just thought I'd share that uselful tip.
