just purchased Smartdraw 2010

Anyone else had a chance to try this software out?

Its Really easy to use. Incredibly efficient.

If your making video tutorials this is an amazing software to add to your arsenal.

Just thought Id drop a quick tip thanks for reading.

    I've used Visio in a corporate environment for over a decade and have always loved it - you don't need flowcharts that often but when you do you realy do. It's also great for network diagrams.

    I can't justify the price tag for personal use though, and instead have been using Dia:

    It's by no means as advanced as Visio or even SmartDraw, but it has two advantages for me:

    1 - It's a free Open Source program
    2 - Since it works on both Linux and Windows I can do diagrams on my Ubuntu workstation and then use them on one of my Windows machines.

    Just thought I'd mention it in case someone else has a need.

    I have the previous version of SmartDraw and really like it.

    I guess I should not take a look at the new 2010 version if I don't want to take my wallet out again.

    Thanks for posting about this, I had never seen this piece of software before. It's on my list of things to get now. The ability to view your projects in different ways is awesome.

    When I checked Amazon I noticed two things. 1) they had it priced higher. 2) it said it was for XP. Will this run on Vista?

    I downloaded Dia and have started playing with it, but I really plan on getting SmartDraw if it will work on Vista.
