Holding too many domain names - sell or keep?

I have about 110 domains names some of which I am not using. I am spending a lot of money just renewing some of them. I am considering selling some of them.

Are there any value in the following domains?

auctionsavings.com
buildingmypc.com
coachnicksaban.com
creditcardoutrage.com
e-paymethod.com
homerefinancingguide.com
idealinternetmarketing.com
internetmarketingpitfalls.com
marketingpeak.com
negriltravel.info
onlineauctioncraze.com
southbeachtravel.info
stockresearchguide.com
techsavvyparents.com
trimelectricbill.com

Ps. J.Cox if you are reading this, send email to awmarketing 'at' att.net

Sell them. Or even better add a simple brandable site based on the domain name and then sell them. There is no reason you cannot pick up $50 per domain even if they are just simple blogs with the theme changed and some PLR content added.

You could even sell them all together as a blog network at that point.

In terms of high traffic keyword domains, they don't look amazing but as Steve said, just make blogs out of them, get a few backlinks then sell them on.

    I face this every month.

In my opinion, all domain names are worth what you have to pay to renew it, unless it is making you money. If they are just sitting, get rid of them

I would sell them, as far as the value it depends on who wants them. Also I wouldn't think the .info's are going to get you much.

What I do when I have a good domain is I develop it and give
some traffic so it continue to earn. If the earning is less than
my effort or less than the domain registration then I did not
renew it otherwise I will sell it in high price or just keep it.

110 domains is a lot of domains if you ask me. If you are doing nothing with the domains I would sell them.

    I'm in a similar boat.
I don't have 110, but I have too many that I am not using nor plan to use. Everybody says to sell them. I agree. I have tried. I sold a couple, but I am left with:

    HomeSweetSold.com
    21stCenturyWealth.com
    BiographyofBarackObama.com
    HottLott.com
    GraphicTent.com
    GrottoNYC.com
    CarpetCleaningBristol.com
    OfficeCleaningBoston.com

Where can you sell them quick? I'll take about anything at this point.

    Appreciate any input.

Try DigitalPoint for quick sales. Just don't sell to anyone with less than about 20 positive itrader rating.

I would sell the ones with little or no domian history and keep the aged ones, they should develop alot quicker and then sell them.

auctionsavings.com... is nearly 10 years old since it was first registered

Why dont you develop ALL of them ? Just add Unique Content to each one every few months or so. Dont sweat it and dont overwork yourself doing this. Even if its adding unique content to each one every 3 months, that is fine. Just do it CONSISTENTLY and Ping after each Posting.

Also, do some occassional EZA Articles and GoAtricles to build up some Backlinks. As well as put some Adsense on those suckers to Monetize it.

Then then sit back and let them age. And like fine wine they will get better with Time !!

Thanks for the suggestion. It was my intention to create articles around some of these domains. But the task is a bit overwhelming.

I just ran into an old classmate who is an English major and I am trying to convince her to partner with me and write the articles/content.

Some of them in both batches are pretty good. You can put them up for auction at namepros.com and get reseller price for them or you can put them on sedo.com and it will most likely take a lot longer to sell them, but you would get end user price for them.

Thanks for the suggestion of namepros
I have them listed at SEDO. No action after a few months.
      I'll check out namepros

Apart from the first one, I would let them expire.

They will not receive any type in traffic. If they do not have any significant incoming links, I do not see the value in renewing them provided you are not planning on building on them.

It's a tough call - after all nothing worse than letting a domain go and then seeing someone else do well with it -but you have to be realistic. I had a clear out recently been holding way too many domains that I had plans for but just never get around to do anything with. i've only ever sold domains which were great names (which i only ever got 5 of those!) and domains I have actually worked on and therefore there is some value. nothing in your list grabs me but each to their own

That is exactly my fear. In fact it has happened already (with buying-digital-camera.com, webhostingneeds.com, thesuarezfamily.com, mothers-online.com.)

Over the past 12 years I may have bought 300+ domain names from GoDaddy and some that I allowed to expire are now doing well under new ownership.

Maybe we should all list the domains we have for sale in this thread and then we won't have to pay Allen for a classified ad or a WSO.

The only one that floats my boat is this one:

    homerefinancingguide.com

It could be worth developing a little.
