Niche marketing questions

Hi everyone,

I brought a wso about niche marketing, and I have follow the guru instruction to use blog, submit articles, lens, social bookmarking etc, and I also brought all the recommanded tools such as micro niche finder, senuke, unique article wizard and use all software as in his instruction, but I just can't see any further google raking improvement until now, here is my website and the targeted keyword

keyword: electrolux upright vacuum
(I research it using MNF, and it show a green light for easy domination)

this site listed in page 1 since I brought the keyword rich domain and host it on a wordpress website, but after all the day to day hard work, the ranking still remain without any improvement, i have posted a lot of articles to many websites with senuke, but when I check backlink for this website, it only show a few backlink, Am I targetting a really hard keyword?

thanks in advance if any senior warrior can give me some advice on this.

    I am not sure what you are asking, I would kill for a top 10 ranking?


    Anyways, I used "link:electroluxuprightvacuum.com" in yahoo and it showed 2 of them so not really knowing why...maybe the search engines have sand boxed the crap from SEnuke?

    One issue I think you could face in the future though is trademark with Electrolux...

    How long have you been working on the links? I get nothing in spyglass either so either it has not been very long or you are doing something seriously wrong when building your back links.

      Yes I think so, My staff did all the job for me, may be she is doing some mistake, may be she didn't insert www. in the backlink? or something else?

      I follow the link building stategy until day 7, doing everything in the tutorial, such as posting on blogspot, blogger, squidoo n many other sites + blast 3 articles to multiple sites using senuke & also unique article wizard, but don't know why it don't work on for me....

      I started on this project since 1 month ago, is one month still not really long for seo? Or may be google need more time to index?

      my site seating on #9 on google, and the rest on top are subpages from nextag, amazon & wikio, is the competor too strong for this search term?

        Hi, do you know why my site not showing up the 'www' infront of my domain name in google search result? Do you think this is the main problem causing it can't rank or didn't receive any back links?

        I do have many other blog sites linked back to the money site though.
        For example:
        Electrolux Upright Vacuum
        Electrolux upright vacuum's Blog
        And already submitted many related url to social bookmarking sites with SEnuke software.

    I had a look at your sourcecode. There are no homekeywords and the articles haven't got keywords too. Download SEO Ultimatum or All in One Plugin for WordPress to do some On-Page-SEO. This will improove your rankings as well, not just backlinking.

    You have to wait some time if you gain backlinks from other sites, Google has to find them. For one of my blog I built backlinks, wrote articles every day and when Google made an update for their PR I suddenly were ranked well.

    hey guys,

    just to update you my site seo status, now the site went up to #2 or 3 on google.

    to tell other newbie from my experience,

    1) keyword rich domain + wordpress = can rank on page 1 overnight even no external link at all. (low competitive keyword)

    2) submit articles, social bookmarking etc will not boost your ranking in a short time, but google will remark your effort and boost your ranking after 1-2 months (in my case)

    3) do not target a keyword that contain trademark name, i received an email to ask me to give up the domain to elextrolux because they own the trademark.

      The term has very low search counts - less than 10 per day for the phrase used in the domain name and less than 500 for the term Electrolux vacuum.

      If there is little search traffic, your site can be #1 and get few visitors. However, I would be concerned about use of the trademark in the name, especially as your site description in g-search shows up as "here at Electrolux..."

      When you use UAW, success depends on providing articles that other sites/blogs will pick up and show on their sites. I can't see that working well with such a narrowly defined microniche.

      You have gained the search engine position. With that site, I'd probably let it sit there and start working on another site. You can't create massive traffic if the searches aren't happening.

        Not surprising - and it's been posted here many times not to use trademarks in domains.

    Ranking for a vacuum seems like it should be hard to do???

    I've been selling my own 3 DVD set through JV partners and do not even know the best keywords to use for SEO. Any tips?

    Stop worry about ranking and green fairy dust and just get adding lots of content to your site, also look for ways to cross market with industry based sites.
