Domain name question... which is better?

I'm trying to get a domain name with a specific keyword. "keyword.com" is taken but the .net and .org is available.

Should I get the .net or .org? Or should I get "bestkeyword.com" which is available?

Couple of thoughts here. If you are looking to the domain name to help you rank for that specific keyword , I've found either the .net or .org versus with stand alone keyword works best. However, that said, let says your first keyword of choice is "nikon coolpix" and it's taken. But your second or third choice (based on keyword research) is "whole nikon coolpix" and you can secure the .com - go with that as it will give you more bang for your buck in the long run.

Yeah... I am trying to rank for a two word keyword. So basically you're saying go with the "best keyword keyword".com option... correct?

One more question... does the placement of the added word matter when it comes to ranking? Is "best keyword keyword".com the same as "keyword keyword reviews".com?
