Newbie could use some sound advise!!

First thing is you need to decide what you want to market could be cpa offers or internet marketing, or self help any subject to get the hang of things go ahead and start a blogger account free now review a product or service.

At this point you may say yeah but what do i review you can promote products from
clickbank to amazon there are tons of affiliate programs maybe you own a product
that you love like software or a tv, stereo, a great book.

Now lets say you decide your going to do a review of a sony tv go to amazon find that model number. such as Sony BRAVIA Z Series KDL-40Z5100 40-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV

Now with articles and your blog you also need to know about keyword research
or the chances of your article getting read or you site getting found are slim and none.

What you do is go to google keyword tool put in the model# for the tv your looking for something with over 1000 searches a month but dont go for the ones that have 50,000 thats going to be to competitve for you just yet google is going to give you related keyworks compare lcd tvs, best lcd television, best lcd tv reviews, pick 4 or 5

now you want the name of your blog to be something like best lcd tv reviews keep
your writing focused around those keywords mentioning them a few times you need to write about 500 words. Post it to your blog.

Now do a little bit of a rewrite and post it to ezine articles again make your tittle in the with the keyword like why sony bravia is the best lcd television.

Once that gets approved start post to all the other directories make about 5 post to your blog and submit at least 15 articles to each.

That's really just the tip of the iceberg jim get some good training there is plenty here if your looking for a good course i can recommend stephen pierce

There are lots of YouTube videos with some great tips on article marketing, well worth a look.

Also when you can afford it its a good idea to invest in an article submitter aswell. This works wonders in saving you time submitting to other article sites & leveraging you efforts for more exposure.

You may go for some ebooks but of course youtube is the budget way =)

It's great you are asking this important question NOW, before spending months (if not years) and thousands of dollars -- and getting nowhere.

What you need in place first depends upon what type of business you want to develop. Do you want to simply market affiliate products (I say simply, but it's really not all that simple, if you want to make some money!)? Do you plan to have your own products? Will they be digital products, physical products...or maybe services? And on and on.

Article marketing is inexpensive (free in many cases), but it doesn't bring instant traffic. It does, however, have the potential to bring long-term and steady traffic, if done correctly (many previous posts addressed this), and if you have enough articles out there. Ten or twenty isn't enough - think hundreds (over time).

Other ways of driving traffic may cost money, but produce faster results.

One of the first things you want to consider is to make certain that you start with a market that is hungry to buy something. Too many of us start with a product in mind and then spend tons of time and energy (and often money) creating that product and marketing it, only to find that nobody really wants to buy it.

It's way simpler if you find a hungry market first, then find out what they want, and either go locate it and offer it to them (affiliate product) or create it yourself.

Don't worry about marketing the articles at this point. Learn the proper techniques to writing a good article first. Good content market itself. Ezine has some decent tutorials on how to write good articles.

Definitely research a niche and start building your list.

You'll need a domain name, hosting, a squeeze page, an autoresponder and a product to giveaway for free which could be a report or ebook or an interview etc.

Then start driving targeted traffic to your squeeze page and capture the names and email addresses of visitors.

For a fee they'll host and create a website with all of your links in and none of theirs. For another fee they'll provide setup an auto responder series for you. They'll put a custom video on your website

They really do, do it all and I've found no better place for a newbie.

I think your knowledge and insight into this field will do good to your job.Since you have prepared for a long time,just begin it and start from a freelancer.

The results are superb and very cost effective. I have used a South African lady for 40+ articles for $100! Bargain!!
