Squeeze Page Discussion

Hi everyone, I wanted to take some time to bounce some ideas off the always helpful people here.

Within the last year I put up a website using my name in hopes of inspiring others and helping them avoid some of the mistakes I have made....there are quite a few

I installed my Worpress blog on the root of my domain.

I am now starting to really go full throttle with my list building efforts and need some help.

If I had it to do over again I would probably make my squeeze page the main page of my site and put my blog in a /blog/ sub directory. I don't want to change the structure now, so here are some ideas I had and I would love to hear your feedback.

Ultimately, I would like to have several different squeeze pages based on how they found my site. If they come from a link in an article where I was discussing Google ranking I'd like to have something on that page along the lines ...."I'm glad you liked my article on Google Rankings. If you would like more.... -> Opt-in".

To do that I would need separate squeeze pages. I guess my options would be to 1)register new domain names, 2)create the squeeze pages as their own pages or sub directories on my site or 3)create them as sub domains.

I'd rather not go the new domain route for every page since they are all in the same market/niche .

I don't mind setting them up along the lines of

but will I run in to issues later on? For instance when promoting through a resource box on ezinearticles, I don't think I am allowed to use those sub page or sub directory links, correct?

If that is the case would I be better off doing something like

I would love to hear the thoughts of others and how they are doing it.

Thanks in advance for your time,
