I received an email from an Audit Engineer
and he said to me some one wanted to
register a domain name which conflicts
to my domain Prosoncheng.com

Now he asked if I consigned "this company" to register these domain names or not?

so the question what if I consign and what if I don't?
what kind of benefits or risks I may have when I consign their options?

Thanks

We are a professional intellectual property right consultant organization in Asia, who mainly deal with the global domain name registration and internet intellectual property right protection.
On February 16, 2010, we formally received an application, one company named "Bender Co.,Ltd" applied for some domain name related to the keyword "Proson" with our organization.
During our preliminary investigation, we found that these domain names' keyword is identical with your trademark. We wonder whether you consigned "this company" to register these domain names with us? Or is this company your business partner or distributor in Asia? If you have no relationship with this company, we assume that they have other purposes to obtain these domain names.
Currently, we have already postponed this company's application temporarily. Please make a confirmation with me by telephone or email as soon as possible.

I totally think that this is a scam. I received the same email a few months ago. I think they are trying to get you to register some obscure domains with odd endings that these people own or something.

It sounds to me like they are just freelancing trying to get you to buy something that will "protect" your name somehow. I doubt they're filing lawsuits or issuing Cease and Diciest orders. I'd play along and keep going to see what they really have to offer/want. I'd guess that it's some sort of package.
