Need a smart/productive routine, help me out? Have lots of software, but no focus, a bit lost!

I need to figure out a good, productive routine. Do any Warriors have any suggestions? My focus is all over the place, I often am not sure what I should be doing to maximize my time and production. Obviously... not spend lots of time on the WF is a given, , but what kind of daily schedule or task list do you go through?

Example, I have quite a bit of software, but I find myself confused sometimes about what order to do them in.

I have 17 domains and five live sites right now. I'm doing mostly a mixture of affiliate marketing, AdSense and a little ClickBank. I also sell around 40 different physical items on eBay and Amazon.

What's a good "order" or "routine" to use all these programs in?

TrafficSecrets 2.0 (and probably 100 gigs of other courses). I spent all this money on courses that I don't have time for, HA!

Basically I have overwhelmed myself with "stuff" and find myself a bit lost and in need of focus and direction. I have approx 8 hours a day I can afford to spend on IM.

How the hell should I put this to the best use? Thank you, I truly appreciate any advice.

Okay, how about an "action plan" or, "blueprint", or "checklist"? Any suggestions?

      Yep... consider this..

You've may have heard of the pareto principle before right? The 80/20 rule where 80% of your results will come from 20% of your actions?

So how often do you use it in your online business?

Judging by your post you struggle with this. I used to be the same...

But if you start to apply it to your life then you will be amazed at the speed with which you can transform things. For instance first of all think of your personal life, which 20% of your bills cost 80% of your expenditure?

      Can you cut them down?

There is no point looking at the other 80% of the bills yet as they are such a small proportion.

And you can apply it to almost every area of your business, which 20% of your clients and customers account for 80% of your revenue? Then which 20% of your clients and customers account for 80% of your wasted time and stress, if any of that 20% are not on your 20% of the clients that make you the most money then get rid of them!

Which 20% of your online activities make you 80% of your revenue?

Because if you can figure that out then isn't your time much better spent on working on those 20% of your online activities? Rather than the others which just suck up your time and give you nothing back.

You might be quite shocked how you find that you have 'pet' projects but they just don't make you any money and sap all your time. I know I had two websites that barely made me a dime, yet I persisted in allocating time to them as they were live projects and I wanted to 'try and make them work'. I listened to my heart rather than my mind.

Sure if you have enough money already then allocate time to them, and if the 20% of online activities you have that make you all your money are nicely tweaked then give the others some time, but I was allocating time evenly across all projects - how stupid is that!?

It is a fact of life that some projects will make more than others, some projects will suck up more time than others, you can achieve exponential growth in your business if you can concentrate on the projects that make the most money with the least time.

To identify them then sit down and make a list and apply the 80/20 rule to every area of your online business you can, you'll soon see which projects are holding you back and which you should spend more time on because ultimately its worth it.

Don't forget to take it to the next level though, grab those profitable projects and dissect them with the 80/20 rule, so what 20% of your traffic sources result in 80% of the sales?

What 20% of pages on the website account for 80% of the traffic? Or what 20% of affiliates account for 80% of the sales etc?

You can keep going down and keep finding out little golden nuggets that will help you to pull ahead of the competition and really grow and prioritize your online business.

This stuff is very powerful and can really help you as long as you apply it.

      Hope this helps.

      Garry.

Thank you for the excellent posts guys! I'm going to "brain storm" everything I do and figure out which are 20%/A level and see if I can't organize everything into priorities.

        This should help, thank you.

If anyone else wants to chime in you are more than welcome to.

Wow, well said and SOOOO true! I have a real tendency to keep pouring work into underperforming projects, thinking that I can "bring them around". It makes much better sense to focus on the ones that are already proving themselves. Thanks for the reminder.

Think about which tasks will being you in the most money and focus on that. You can also write down all your tasks figure out which ones are the most important and will make you the most money and classify those as A level tasks and the second most important as B level tasks.

It is going to be hard for someone to give you a definate answer because everyone uses different avenues of marketing to create their traffic streams.
