Well, seeing that the FEDS raided their office, I don't like their chances of being proven innocent. I can't remember the last time I heard of the FEDS busting a business like that and being wrong on their charges.

Totally agree - I'm just making the point that we do have due process. (Ya know I like to stir things up.)

Here's a video from this company from a year ago - explaining how to set up your own millionaire IM business.

Make money from home by simply clicking on links. Hmmm, can't imagine that pitch to desperate people could possibly involve any fraud.

              LMBO!

              Me either Bryan.

I thought most of these were weeded out by the Feds in recent years. Guess there's always the idiots who have to keep trying.

The worse part about it is that he probably wouldn't have been caught if he paid his taxes.

YEAH, AL CAPONE got caught that way!

Although he was never successfully convicted of racketeering charges, Capone's mobster career ended in 1931, when he was indicted and convicted by the federal government for income-tax evasion. He was sent to a series of prisons including Alcatraz, which was the longest and most famous of his sentences.

Well, if they try to falsify any evidence, the defense could probably make mincemeat out of them. And there ARE bigger fish to fry. They have to have GOOD reason for such a bust, and if they find nothing, they will probably just say SORRY.

Yes - because it's easy to find info on them in google and they are still open for business online.

      About iNetGlobalâ„¢
Our business model pays individuals to "Surf the Web" while using our products to promote and build capacity for their small businesses. iNetGlobalâ„¢ members are no different than Marketing Experts who sell online advertising and get paid commissions.
Dollars to donuts - the part bolded is probably where the problem lies.

The company issued a press release responding to the raid:

iNetGlobal™ releases statement in response to U.S. Government Raid on Minneapolis office

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Yea I hadn't heard anything about it later. And they can't be that far from me either. But then again, I'm usually watching Veggie Tales with my daughter instead of the news.

It just reinforces that we need to deliver what we offer and do good business.

I gotta believe that someone in their offices must have smelled this coming. Imagine how many complaints they must have had to get raided.

Hmmm.... interesting as there is a Steve Renner who is a well known Warrior here that plays guitar and is an internet marketer.

He had live feeds at his workshops for internet marketing newbie types.

Well, his signature file has a link to the company's website that just got raided. His blog has a bunch of videos and links to the same company.

So I'd say there's a good chance it's the same person.

He should be considered innocent until proven guilty.
He seems to be linked to cashcards, imtrain and inter-mark
etc. Seems to be a busy guy.

I guess the future will tell what is, and what is not true.

          Hi Frank,

When I saw the name and the pic of him on the splash screen of that video I immediately recognised him as a warrior. I'm sure I've bought something off him before - just having a look now to see what it might have been...

I posted a thread about this yesterday: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...i3dNUu31641pwL

He is a well known Internet marketer and blues guitarist here in Minneapolis. His office is about 3 miles from my house. So I was a bit surprised. He was a warrior but I haven't seen him here for ages. I don't think he came over when the forum moved.

He was already convicted in December for tax evasion and was awaiting sentencing on that. So this is more trouble for him.

True that. You are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

I'll see if I can get anymore scoop from Lynndel Edgington who works with an Assigned Federal Agent and provided documentation on the Renner case. Here's what he told me the other night:

"I discovered Steve when I was asked about CashCards. That's when I started following him. It was just about the time he started iGlobal. I told our agent about him, but that was just as ASD had been taken down, and they were too busy to deal with him then. Then a few months ago I was asked about him. I had almost totally forgotten about him. So dug out my old stuff, added in the new and viola they used it to take him down."

I'm sure he'll have some more insight on this. I'll see if maybe I can get him to post here.

Thanks for that bit of trivia Steve - was interesting. I knew Capone was caught on tax invasion but didn't have all the details.

    Hey Frank,

I was thinking the same thing. Is this Steve Renner the same Steve Renner?

      Well, that was wikipedia...

If the two steve renners were SAX PLAYERS, I would say probably. But the guitar and IM ARE both popular. So who knows.

I hear now this might have been something about a scam company in China using the name InetGlobal and that was why the feds raided the Minn. based InetGlobal to see if they were the same deal.

markquinn i'd be very interested what else you have heard. Or anyone else for that matter.
