Legal question about listing my products on Ebay
I have an information product that offers similar content (but completely unique) to that of a well-known national brand.
This national brand sells his information product on Ebay, and I'm wondering if I can list my product to coincide with the keyword of his brand name to get instant traffic on Ebay.
For instance, let's say I had a DVD product similar to "Double Your Dating." (I don't, it's just an example.) Could I list title my product description listing as "Double Your Dating alternative" or "Comparable to 'Double Your Dating'"?
I notice that drugstore chains do this all the time, i.e. "Compare to Robutussin," etc.
I looked through Ebay's rules and couldn't find anything specific about that.
