html or text ezines, what do you think better ?

what is better in your own opinion?

HTML ot TEXT emails

and why?

and another question:
if i sent my first followup as html
is it strange to send the second one as text ?

    I personally prefer text because not all email clients can display html messages (Or your subscribers might turnedoff html display option in emails)

    People prefer HTML because they can track open rates and use images etc.

    But give option to both if you want to your subscribers.

      If you are buying solo ads in ezines or on other people's list Html is definately more effective. It helps to grab the reader's attention and keep it.

        I personally create them in MS Word, convert to pdf and send the link out to my list(s).

        That work really well for me and you can get fancy, or as I like to say, "pretty," articles with pictures, etc...

        Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!
