Auto Blogging Questions for aged site. Should this be done?

Hey guys I just have a few questions for people who have done auto blogging. I am curious about it and was wondering if this was something that we should add to our blogs. Maybe not on the main page but have it integrated into the blog.

I see many news sites taking feeds from all over and they tend to have high PR and do very well in the rankings. I have several authority sites that I am not posting to as much as I used to and I thought maybe using auto blogging would help keep it getting indexed more often etc.

Any advice or information on this would be great. Also looking for a good program that does this as well.

    If you are just going to straight copy someone elses content you won't see a whole lot of benefit from it except that visitors will have more to read.

    The key is to find undercompetitive niches and have your plugin or software tweak the content. Typically all I do is have it add in some keywords I am targeting. I've used this with a couple of autoblogs using wprobot's amazon auto posting.

    It's not great but it does help me in rankings. The biggest problem is duplicate content. Now if you work on getting backlinks you can out rank a lot of other duplicated pages. Add in some unique factors to it and it will rank well.

      If there is a wide percentage of your visits that is returning, I wouldn't recommend it at all as they would feel unimpressed and may stop reading you

    I was not going to have it on the main blog page were I post daily. I was looking to add a new page that had automated posts from other sources. I was curious if this helps any with getting the site indexed faster like on a daily basis and to create more indexed pages. Not sure if this is worth doing or if it would hurt my sites any?
