My First You Tube Video...

Review needed please!

It's nothing special, just a slide show created using Big Mike's video writer. Any comments/tips are greatly appreciated but I mostly would like to know if I've left enough/too much time for each slide:

Thank you!

The music is very calming and relaxing like I'd probably expect for a slideshow like this.....

Look at some of those Proactive Solution infomercials, and do what they do....

Good. Add your url in your YouTube description. THE very first line.
http://domain.tld most won't watch the whole video. They see the
message and want a URL ;-)

        Hi Chris,

        Congrats for taking action.

I tried watching the video without going to full screen mode and it was a little hard to read the small font on the screen.

The blue background you've chosen with black text doesn't help the readability. The white text was actually easier for me to read. But that could be a personal problem...

Additionally, and I'm really making a guess here, is the music doesn't seem to fit the mood I image I'd be in if I was a teenager looking for an acne solution. Perhaps something a little more upbeat would work. Also, it's a bit quirky where you've patched the audio clips together. One other thing I would do is to fade the music in so you don't get such an abrupt start.

As far as the timing of the screen shots goes, you'll never get that right for everyone as the speed at which people read is all over the map. For me the first screen changed before I was finished reading it. The first screen needs some additional time on any video like this because it takes a little time for the mind to start concentrating on the text as opposed to scanning the environment while you're getting your bearings.

Personally, I'd redo it now that you've had a little experience with the process. I bet the next one will be much easier and closer to your target, as well.
