How to Restor Your Hacked Article Directory

Yes, loads of article directories where hacked from two days ago till today by someone who calls him/herself: 7FaaN H4Ck3R

When you log into the the article site, it will display Beast Of Hell with a moving Face of a beast.

I was a victim and this was what I did to restore my site.

Do not panic. How to restore your site: Immediately get to your host provider. I contacted Hostgator and they restored the directory.

I went in immediately to change my password and other directory.

The hacker used an exploit on site's script to replace the following files:

./templates/inter.tpl
./templates/login.tpl
./templates/index.tpl
./admintemplates/editsettings.tpl
./admintemplates/edittemplates.tpl
./admintemplates/login.tpl
./admintemplates/index.tpl

Another Tip: Just log into your article dashboard, edit your authors and you will discover there is an entrance with names as First Name: Your and Second Name as: Name, just delete it.

    You should upgrade to a custom script, you can change passwords until hell freezes over. The script does not have security coded into it and from my understanding article dashboard is encrypted which means you can not change the coding to make it secured.

    Do your business and authors a favor, get a custom built script ....
