My first week comes to an end

I began in the IM world last Monday. My plan of attack is article marketing...at least as a start. This is what I have done this past week...

•Submitted 8 articles to EZA - here are the stats:
Article Views: 113, Articles Published: 3, URL Clicks: 16, Click Rate: 14.2%. I will be working on upping my article writing production.

•Started my very first website, "WP blog style" (if I'm not allowed to post my site here, please remove) www.PerimenopauseBlog.com

•Taught myself how to make bullet points (alt 0149 in case someone doesn't know)

I've also got 2 more articles in the drafting stages at EZA and started another site which is looking great so far, but it's adult in nature so I won't post here.

I now have a few more questions...

How do I hyperlink my keywords on my blog site using my CB affiliate link? I've tried and tried and can't get it to work. I want to be able to direct my EZA readers to my site instead and I can't do that until I figure out how to get this part set up right......I hope this is even making sense. I'm not website savvy or technical at all.

How can I jazz up my perimenopause site? Should I try and add in some Amazon links to or just stick with strictly my CB product?

I'm thinking of either purchasing ArticleBot and SocialBot, OR the Article Productions product....which path would you choose?

I swore I had a bunch more questions, but my mind is totally blank right now. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

    1. Delete your current blogroll. You don't need those support links, and they don't add value to your current topic.

    2. When you use the wysiwyg editor, there is a thing that looks like a chain link. When you create a post, highlight the word you want to make into a link, click on the chain thing, and put your link in there.

    3. Consider getting a new theme, or creating a new header. Just a bit of color and pictures will really liven up the site.

    4.In your articles, you can preview before you submit for approval. FYI, when you go back to fix your resource boxes, they will have to approve the article all over again.

    The code you write is the basic linking code.

    When you preview the article, you will see the links turn into links.

    I agree with "Avenue Girl" and all she had to say. I can say that I have been in here cracking at it for about four months now. I just found out how to get the article writing to take off. WRITE! I hate to admit it, but I have been doing much more thinking about how to accomplish my goal than actually "doing it"! I have jacked up my hit level by 300% in the past two days by just "writing". Best of luck out there!

    Thank you so much for all the information, avenuegirl! And thank you chuckster and KLB as well.

    I've made some changes to my site, picked out a new theme and added my links here and there. I know this is the most basic of website design, but I'm so happy with the little bit I've managed to accomplish so far. Now I just need to get to work and get some more articles written

    Another quick question, when I do a google search of the term "perimenopause blog" (but without the quotes) my site shows on page 4...but what I don't understand is that there is nothing more underneath. All the other results have like descriptions and such, why is it that mine doesn't?

    Wow, can you tell just how totally noobish I am?
