I've been using Market Samurai for quite some months. This tool is awesome and recommended also by top internet marketers.

Market Samurai boys provide you with many different options, so it's not just about keywords research but rank tracker as well, competition analyzer and more.

The best free one that I came across is ad seotools.com - you'll ned to sign up, its free. Then from the tools menu you select the keyword tool.

I also agree with the OP about Market Samurai

I used to use micro niche finder, but since moved on to market samurai. It's just all around flat out better. The competition checking tools in samurai are much better than a blanket soc red, yellow, green. I know MNF gives more info than that, but market samurai just offers a lot more punch IMO.

The best free software Is Adword keyword tool And the best paid one is Market Samurai.
It is easy to use and very accessible.

I am using Market Samurai extensively, and I love it. I`ve tried MicroNicheFinder, but it`s far from what MS can do. Google Keyword Tool External is a good free alternative.

That Google Wonder Wheel video added by Mark looks like a good idea as well Thanks Mark

Doesn't anyone using MS find the hassle of having to open a new tab to analyze seo competition for individual keywords cumbersome and trying? Not to mention it takes some time to load each tab too when going back and forth. The tabs slider doesn't work well either.

Would be better if MS can include the top 10 urls and their PRs in the window for keywords after they are generated. Then the analyze seo competition tabs can be for further digging if a keyword looks promising.
