Settring up Warrior For Hire Help

I'm a writer and would like to set up an ad on the warriors for hire section but not sure exactly how to go about it.

I'd like to offer my services as a content writer, I've been doin it for a while now and most of my customers came from word of mouth so I figure it's a good time to put out and actual advertisement for my service.

I was hoping for some feedback on how to do it...other than just write a simple ad and pay the 20 bucks...little more help would be appreciated.

I'd like to offer my services as a content write, ebook writer PLR packages and hell even some music and poems (I've seen a few people asking for help like that in the hire section).

    I would go into the warriors for hire forum and take a look at some of the posts that the other content writers have started. This should give you a general idea of how to do it.

    I think the best way to do your research is to spend an hour to through the classifieds section here at the form.

    Then I would suggest that you offer to the first 3 to 5 warriors a one article review copy.

    The other thing that would attract attention is to take the first 10 or possibly 20- warriors and do a limited amount of work, just a few articles, deliver first and then after delivery bill them for payment.

    This would get you establish quickly and generate positive feedback that would help you to set up a client base.

    Repeat business is the name of the game and following these steps or something similar, you should be one of the leaders content creation.

    I think you should start advertising your services by, first and foremost, making use of your "signature file". You don't have to spend $20 in order to set up a sig. file here. Test how people would react to your services by posting the link to your own website or blog in your sig. file.

    It's all about TESTING. So, test, test and test in order to find out what works.

      Would I have to pay again if I wanted change my ad?
      and also I have a sample blog up that has random aricles to show what I'm capable of..I've been writing for other people so much I dont have much of my own up and running

        You don't have to pay again, all you have to do is click the edit button underneath the ad. You don't have to put a reason for editing. If you need to change the title just click go advanced in when you are in the edit screen. I would certainly post some excerpts of previous work. You could also link to your sample blog withing your advert.

        Just try to avoid giving away time in which you could be doing paid work, as by doing freebies that's exactly what you'd be doing. It makes no business sense to do that.

    Ryan, make sure you don't price yourself too cheap othewise you'll regret it. People will pay more for high quality work and by pricing high you'll attract serious customers who need high quality work done.

    Always try to remember that your work becomes the "shop window" of their website/business. People who want the best shop window display will invest more in it.

    I would advise caution against giving out freebies as the people who take up your offer may not give you a review and your time working on their free article may be wasted.

    Instead I would provide them with samples of work you have already written.

    Take it from somebody who's already been down this route!

    I would post some excerpts from articles you have written in different niches to help give people some ideas of your writing skills. It saves the hassle of having to ask and wait for copies to review.

    The WSO forum seems to get about 6-7 times more the amount of traffic than the Warrior For Hire forum does, so you may want to highly consider not only posting your services, but coming up with some kind of package offer for a reduced price and put it in the WSO forum. I've no doubt you will get clients fairly fast.

    I'm seeing that alot of people aren't putting their email in they way it's wrriten...why is that?

    also, how do I set up payment in the for hire section?
    does the admin ask me about paypal or do I have to link to my own payment page that I've set up?
