Should i sell my new e-book for plr?

I am currently writing a completely original e-book and wondering if i should put together a full website and try sell it through affiliates or just sell it for plr rights?
Or should i brand it full of my affiliate links to other products and just give it away? hoping for affiliate sales.
Just wondering if any one had any ideas on what would make more money.

Really appreciate any advice thanks warriors.

    Hi david

it depends what your main goal is?

is it to make a quick sale and then move on then if so sell PLR but if you want to brand yourself and have people visiting your blogs/websites etc you need to brand the ebook to sell to your customers.

You can always offer it for free and then sell master resale rights as this is still effective

    kind regards

    Thanks Sam

these are good points you make, i am worried i will be losing of money by selling plr i have never sold anything for plr and don't quite know how much money there is to be made or potentially lost on a good product.

i also didn't mention before it is a weight loss book. Not some rubbish dot point book though. I have put a lot of research and effort in to making it a good product.
I had thought of writing a quick compact version and selling the plr to that just to raise some funds.

    Thanks again for your advice.

    Tim.

      Hi Tim,

I can see that however you decide to do it, it will be good for you.

You said you created a good product, selling it here with PLR rights
would give you a very good rep. Specially if you include everything
      with it (sales page, etc.)

Selling it for personal use only and looking for affiliates to promote
it would probably take you quite some time since you are not yet
well known and might have some hard time convincing affiliates, still
if it's a decent product, people would know about it.

Selling it with master resell rights and branding it with your affiliate links
would most probably get you some sales on the side, plus it will also
build you some rep but not as much as selling it with plr rights.

Plus, knowing warriors here, I'm sure they'll never forget the
      creator of a quality plr

      All the best,

    Tim,

If you have put a lot of time and effort into this project then I would recommend using it to brand yourself/company. Choose a price range for which you want to sell it at, include some affiliate links inside and perhaps just offer resale rights so the content and affiliate links remain your own and you get your name out there as an expert as well as making money from the sales and affiliate sales inside your ebook.

The key to your success is really how you market it?

Do you intend to sell this on clickbank, have you thought about setting up an affiliate page?

Are you looking to make some quick money? If so perhaps you could offer it in the WSO section with a limited number of MRR/PLR rights.

    Just a few ideas.

    Best of luck
    Steve.

      Thanks Steve,

I was thinking about selling it through clickbank as I want to build a name for myself in this niche and bring out more products and possible membership site in the future.

As I have never sold a product of my own before no one knows me. I am concerned if I try to sell it through click bank it would just get lost among all the other products and go stale.

I will set up an affiliate site either way i go, even if I sell it for MRR or PLR I think it would sell better with it's own site included.

Thanks for taking the time to give me your thoughts I really appreciate them.

      David

Best option is to make your own website and offer some affiliate links in there

They are all good options. You should develop a business plan if you have not already done so; and then the answer will become more clear to you.

      Thanks Will,

After reading all the good advice I have been given I am going back to my business plan and making some adjustments, I must admit it was quite a loose plan to start with. I kinda was unsure where I wanted to go with things.

So thanks for the advice I really appreciate it.

    David,

I'm in the same boat as you. I have a quality product I just finished with a unique approach to using cpa offers but NOT SELLING to anyone. I think I will do the PLR thing. I'm going to send you a friend request. Let's keep each other updated on our success...what do ya say??
