You need to have a good relationship with your customers in order to collect testimonials from them (provided they are happy with your product/service of course).

I would contact them (either via your autoresponder or direct email) and simply ask them for their opinion of your product. Always get their consent to publish their testimonial, name, city etc. You may want to offer then a "bribe" of some sort to encourage testimonials. Offer a free report or something similar.

Online marketing, offline marketing and various other things.

      Hi There

      You could try this:

Email the customer about 3-5 days after they have purchased your product and ask them for their opinion of what they bought. Ask them if they would provide you with a testimonial and offer them an incentive, such as a discount on their next purchase or free ebook etc.

I personally prefer the idea of a discount on their next purchase as it encourages them to purchase something again from you at a future date and you can also use this as an opportunity to write to them at a later date if they do not come back and say "don't forget you can claim your £xx or x% discount". It just gives you another reason to contact and persuade them to buy from you.

      Hope this helps
