Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly is a "rebrander"? I know of many free solutions that parse word .doc's to .pdf files, but I'm not sure if that's what's meant with a rebrander?

Anyone care to denoobify me here?

Ah, I see! Thank you for helping me out here!

So, it's basically an automated PDF editor.

Because people want to hide the fact that their own affiliate links and personal text and images are inside the PDF. By nature PDFs are not supposed to be changeable unlike OpenOffice or Word documents.

You can change anything in PDF files. you just need the knowhow.
PDF files do not require funky tokens, tokens are only used because my software is designed to use tokens. Everybody is copying is idea, I'll prove it when I change ViralPDF to no longer use tokens.

Yes you can. It all comes down to how much money and time you have to implement the 'rebranding' code.

Not true, you can rebrand PDFs as often as you like but my software is designed to only ALLOW people to rebrand a PDF one time.

I only mention my software because it seems you are receiving your information from using it rather than reading the PDF specification.

I think you have a bit of research to do before posting next time

          Hello,
          peteinoz

          Best and easiest PDF rebrander

For doing PDF's on the fly with no EXE software.

Lot of people don't want to deal with EXE software they can
          carry a virus with them.

          If I use a exe program I use viralpdf.com

Now the best one is it creates PDF's on the fly, a server side script

          ontheflypdf.com
upload the html of a PL product easy use MSword save as html
upload it it generates the special code you past that any place that takes html code
then it gives a form to fill out by who wants to rebrand it. the put in the links or
plane text and hit create pdf few seconds on the fly they download the branded pdf.

this is as easy as it gets like they were signing up for your autoresponder simple as
          that.

My two picks are Viralpdf.com for a exe and ontheflypdf.com for on the fly

          hope that helps

A really easy rebrander would let the person doing the rebranding
use an affiliate type URL instead of making them put a copy of the
    PDF up on their website.

As such a tool did not exist I decided to create it ==> Ultimate Rebrander

Of course if you have Adobe Acrobat you can rebrand any unlocked PDF, including the removal of all existing links or adding links anywhere you want.

And for locked/secured PDFs there are plenty of tools to unlock them out there.

So essentially PDF files are no more secure than the doc files, they just appear that way.
