Doing what you love vs paying the bills.

Hey Everyone,
Seems like there's a million ways to make money out there. I'm wondering how you find the balance between pursuing your dreams and paying the bills.

I run a video production business out of my homehttp://onethingproductions.com and while it's great to be working from home, not stuck at a 9-5 everyday, I know I don't want to be making website videos and shooting events for the rest of my life.

Like my dream is to be making movies but unfortunately independent filmmakers are losing money, not making it.

So I'm wondering you any of you have found any good resources to help further you in what you WANT to be doing but still making bucks along the way.

    Eric,

As much as it sucks that resource in the end is either a connection or money.

In my case, I've just recently reached that sub-dream. (almost at the dream)

I did it through hardwork. With hardwork came a connection.

That connection took me to the next level.

What I am trying to do, like most Internet Marketers, is create as much leverage as I can with my business. Personally, it is my goal to have my business run as hands off as possible. If you are not doing what you truly love, then I would suggest that you start to slowly focus on the lifestyle that you want.

It seems like many people go through life not really sure about what they want, I cannot tell you how many people I know like this. What you need to do is seriously take some time and think about what you want and why you want it. When you are able to identify those factors, it will then make it easier to figure out how to get there.

Let your passion be your compass.

You have to pay the bills first. I know having a day job sucks but sometimes it's the price you pay - it just makes that final day that much sweeter.

If you have to great a financial pressure on you it is hard to do IM - it also may force you to take short cuts you otherwise might not of.

If IM is truly your dream - it will still be there in 3 - 6 months when you have built a sufficient income to be paying the bills.
