Video Vs. Written Squeeze Page

Has anyone tested the success of Video vs. "traditional" squeeze page coversion rates? If so which one is winning?

Also...

On video squeeze pages does the more traditional you tube type "guy sitting at a desk" beat the "movie trailer video style video"...or vice versa?

I am new to the game so any info or advice you could lend would be greatly appreciated.

    I don't understand why people always say use the search button. Here's a perfect example of why.

    I saw the thread and thought hey that's a good question that I've been meaning to find out about.

    I come to read the thread only to see people saying use the search button.

    You know I could do that too but it would be nice if I didn't have to go track it down since I'm already here.

      Let me help you understand...

      This topic has been written about extensively on the forum. How many
      times do you expect the same people to type the same answer again and
      again just so you won't have to click your mouse once or twice?

      Successful people are resourceful people... they don't sit around waiting
      for answers to come to them. They go out and find them.

      I say it's a false dichotomous choice. For many niches, it shouldn't be EITHER/OR, but rather BOTH/AND. More & more I'm seeing highly compelling squeeze pages ~ the kind that make ME wanna buy/sign up (and I'm jaded & real tight with a dollar ) ~ combining Video with traditional sales copy.

      Have your cake and eat it, too.
