Get a Good membership script. I highly reccomend that you go for PLR ebooks.
You've decided to make a living online, but is still a bit stuck on where to start. Someone mentioned Adsense, CPA, and a host of other ways to get started and feel overwhelmed. Why not stick to a proven business model that has worked for a number of Internet entrepreneurs: websites for membership. Whether you know it or not, in fact, belong to a membership site now. Do you have an account on Facebook, MySpace or Twitter? There you go, you belong to a membership site.

So how can you get into madness to find new sites for members from all over the World Wide Web? When you start your own website members. Why should you start your own website? You need to start membership sites because they are passionate about the Internet these days, and if you do not start your own membership website, you can earn lots of money on the table.

People like the sites of members because they appreciate the fact that membership to a site has a limited membership. They like the exclusivity! Partner sites rarely allow swearing in flames and people like that. In open sites is not usually a monitor that allowed the misconduct or bad and not a director is there to enforce the rules.

When you start a membership site, if you could use the free model or the model of care, or a combination of both.

In the free model, which requires members to pay membership fees to your website members. All those who are required to provide your name and e-mail, and possibly other details such as address and telephone number. The main objective of launching a free membership website is to build an opt-in list, which will then market the products of interest. Of course, even in a free membership website, you must still provide relevant content to keep their members happy, so do not unsubscribe from the list.

The business model of other sites is the membership payment model. This model is most lucrative because the members of wages (often monthly) to be a member of your website. Here you have the opportunity to really start to benefit almost immediately.

Now we will discuss the benefits of having a (paid) web site, and they are many, many reasons. One of the main reasons can be summarized in two words beautiful, recurring revenue. Each month, you pay the same people. We do not sell anything, have already been sold.

Recurring revenue adds quickly, too. For example, if you have a membership site that charges $ 29.95 per month, which means that over a year, you will make $ 359.40 for each member without additional cost. It's like a money tree!

The owner of a member of the website should not fight for site content constantly. Members supply all content is needed and they pay the website owner to do! That happens not to like?
A website is a membership site that members are safe, interesting and satisfying and a membership site is a site that reflects the owner's cost, cheap to run in time and money. Subscription sites are the wave of the 21st century, because they work and create a win-win for both owners and members!
So how are you going to create a membership site, either free or pay?

    Get a domain name

The first thing you need to start a website membership or any other website for that matter is a domain name. Get a domain name is not difficult and certainly not expensive. There are two websites with the same name. A domain name is unique. Is your address on the Internet. You can go to any of thousands of different sites to obtain and register your domain name. Examples of sites are GoDaddy, Register, Networksolutions, etc., and how to register a domain name will cost no more than $ 10 for one year.
(* Note: It is better to register a domain name for 2 years as search engines explore areas that are registered for one year as "fly-by-night operations.)

    godaddy.com /

    register.com /

So let that $ 20 to get and register a domain name.
    Hosting and Web Site

Now you have to build a website. There was a time back in the distant past where only those technically inclined and HTML literate could build a website, but is simply not the case. There are WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) software to create Web site that offers a cost that only a handful of dollars.

The software is completely web tonight GoDaddy costs between $ 4.99 and $ 12.99 per month, depending on the plan you choose. There are programs for construction site out there that are cheaper and there are those that cost more. So, say you'll take half of the road, so to speak, and spend $ 120 for a program of building websites.

Incidentally, the program includes free hosting and GoDaddy email accounts, like most programs for creating web sites do.

    Building Membership List

You need an answering machine. There are dozens to choose from. GetResponse and Aweber is one is another. The cost of an answering machine is between $ 0 and $ 20 per month. We do not recommend using a free service.
Usually, free autoresponder services include their own logo to each message sent and the number of messages you can send as often limited. A payment service is not expensive to go with a paid service. Say it will spend about $ 10 per month for an answering machine.

This means that the cost for a year will be $ 120. Now you have a domain name, website, hosting and an automatic response.
    Software Partners

Now you need a script for membership. There script dollar membership costs that are large and dollars scripts accession inexpensively. You can get a good grip of software for under $ 200.

    I hope this helps!

That is a lot, thank you. I got the content (45 training video on traffic originally made for my outsource team and training), I know how to get traffic which a lot of people can use (check report on IM Crunch on sig). I am now taking it from myself and team to sharing with others.

What membership script do you suggest. I have used amember, anything else?

      Cheers,

    Hey Mukul...

Uhm, being the modest and humble person that I am, I'd like to offer that my up and coming software, Rapid Residual Pro, and "how-to" membership site program that will be at Rapid Member Pro, pretty much have it covered. LOL...

But, with that blatent self-promotion out of the way, I'd offer that, for me and for my clients... a Fixed Term Membership or a one off "Full-Media" product seem to be getting the most value in the market ("Full Media Marketing," my own little catch-phrase - a combination of video, audio, .pdf, live interaction, blogs, etc).

Fixed Term (FTM) being a time released content model... which has many advantages over a traditional membership website in my experience.

Jimmy D. Brown teaches this in his Membernaire program (which is a GREAT "How-To" resource on creating membership websites that make money by the way) as a simple, email delivered, ClickBank run, no software needed, model.

I actually think that it's a great place to start if a person is just getting involved with creating membership sites - low overhead, fast to begin, easy (kinda, CB is the only learning curve really) to setup, no software (not even RapidResidualPro if you don't want it... ), you can lauch it with only a few weeks of lessons, it's a proven model and if your lessons are written correcty and have a "Jr. Ewing - cliffhanger" built into them at the end about what is coming "next week" (does JR die? Will Susie sleep with Jane? Is TRAFFIC all that important to your business?... tune in next week to find out!), your attrition rate drops to almost zilch... etc.

Add a free front end to the FTM model and you have Russell Brunson's hybrid, Micro-Continuity (be careful of the FTC on this one though... do it right or don't attempt this at home children).

Personally, my kinda "guide" is - if you have at least 12 lessons or 3 months worth of content, use a FTM model... if you have less than 12 lessons, consider using a traditional membership model - one price to get access to those lessons, like say $97, then a monthly fee for a live call or additional content each month to follow. If you don't have the additional content, guess what? It's a product, not a membership site, in my opinion.

Be careful about loading a years worth of content into a site and selling "memberships" in a monthly continuity. Stats LAST YEAR suggested that the average member attrition is something like 80% quit after only 3 months.

    Why?

Because they join, download ALL of your content the first month, then quit the continuity. I mean... why not? They already have everything you have to offer anyway, right?

That is why, in my opinion, if you are going to use a traditional membership model, I think you should charge an annual fee or a "lifetime" membership fee... OR....

You need to add new content on a regular basis... which to me, is a lot of work for the return on investment of time.

Go FTM... if someone quits, they only get to keep what they already paid for, but they don't get access to the remaining information.. well, unless they want to rejoin and start over again later (can't start where they were... only at the beginning, which is a super deterant to quiting also ).

Rapid Residual Pro manages all of this by the way... time released content, marketplace to sell additional one-off products, full PayPal integration, IMMEDIATE PAY AFFILIATE PROGRAM BUILT RIGHT IN, simple setup and user friendly flexibility... blah, blah, blah. (sorry, can't help myself)...

    Anyway... some food for thought.

A good membership site software program to look at is memberspeed. It is a little more expensive, but it does everything you would need for a membership site.
