Backlinking Confusion..?

I've purchased a bunch of the bots.

articlebot (good)
directorybot (good)
socialbot (ok I think)
videobot (uh?)
rssbot (have not used it yet)
Incansoft support is good. They always reply.

I bought them for the primary purpose of backlinking.

Each service has the capability of backlinking from hundreds of sites in a relatively short period of time. This I think could look a bit fishy to google right?

What is the best way to use these bots or similar services but avoid looking like a spammer?

Or does it really matter as long as you do it consistently.

I mean, maybe if you are consistently banging out lots of backlinks from the start google will think it is normal for your site and not punish you.

Any thoughts?

Stiz

Overusing stuff like this can cause problems. For example, if these directories are accepting every site the bot sends over, what does that tell you about the quality of the directory?

So often people get in a hurry and sabotage themselves. I always try to promote the idea of building a really awesome website first and foremost. If you get that part right, people will see you site and return again, and your traffic will grow. That is really what most people want.

Most of my best paying products took at least a couple of years to develop, and I can't say I have ever seen anyone become an "overnight success" as a result of getting a ton of links. Instead they did it with a really awesome idea or site.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Personally I think that they best of those are RSS Bot and Social Bot, the biggest drawback is that you have to enter a ton of captchas. You will get some nice backlinks though.

At the moment every time I make a blog post I will RSSbot it and then SocialBot it.

I have only just gotten VideoBot which is pretty good and fairly fast as well

I would suggest if you was going to be submitting a lot of web2.0 sites like Link Wheel elements or articles then to just use RSSBot, as you may find your Account with the social book marking sites get banned.

the only problem with those services is that it leaves a footprint...

you need to use randomness... multiple different account names, ips (proxies)...
but they definitely save a ton of time

I don't think it is really safe to use so many bots

Why not. What is your reason or experience for saying that? I'm sure others are interested in why you would say that after someone has just bought them so more detail would be great.

I don't think it is a good idea to give trains of thought as a valid reason to do anything without proper test results to back it up.

Of course .. I am just thinking out loud... I think

Probably no - it won't sound fishy to Google.

If it does (or that is what you think), would you want to try your competitors site rather than yours?

Relax. I did not ask you to do hurt your competitors - linking simply can not hurt - else even if you were a saint would your competitors not hurt you? On the contrary - I meant, it is okay to build quick backlinks as long as you do not go overboard with it - it is indeed a good thing to do (but within limits).

Why don't you try and use Angela's backlinks and find your competitor's backlinks and use then same?

I've gottem. It's just very time consuming, but the quality of the links could be worth it. To do the whole set would take me about 2 days. Something to outsource I guess.
