Hey everyone...had a quick question I couldn't find anywhere else on the forum.

How do you remove the dates from posts you make on wordpress?

  I remember something a while back, maybe a plugin offered here, that allowed
  for customizing the dates.

  Date Exclusion SEO plugin works well, but I have also edited files when needed. Try the plugin before editing the code and see if that's what you need

I use the Thesis Theme, I know they let me edit it right on there. I think it is all about what theme you are using. But you can edit it in the template file

The Date Exclusion plugin will let you remove the dates from all posts, or will automatically remove the date after x days. So, if you want to have dates while posts are new but remove the date after a set number of days, the plugin will do that.

I would second the Date Exclusion SEO plugin.

The description on wordpress.org plugins listing:

"Gives your blog a feeling of freshness by turning off the display of date information after a specified number of days or immediately after posting. You also have the option of removing dates from Category and Tag Pages as well as the Front Page of your blog. You also have the option of providing alternative text for each type. You now have the option of turning off specific posts using comma delimited list of post ids. Additionally it allows you to turn on and off the date functions depending on your theme used."

  The more I read and learn about Wordpress, the more grateful I am for the software and for the vast array of plugins that make life easier. I'm glad I know html for incidental use, and I'm VERY glad I don't have to write code anymore! Wordpress is just so much easier for almost everything.
