What blog themes do you recommend
for internet marketing purposes?

    Paulo there are so many out there, its not so much the theme as what you yourself are capable of doing with a theme and what your goals are with the site

    I'll recommend Thesis. LOTS of customization options.

    Just a tip: stick to the one-column design if you really want to increase your conversion rates.

    This is really good information to have on hand. I just started my blog and I did not know any of this. Of course, I have someone helping me, but it is always good to know. Quick question, what additional benefit does the IM feature add to a blog? I mean, people can still comment on your blog and you have to approve or deny their comment. But, what does IM add, other than a chat? Sorry if the question seems silly. I just want to know the difference, if any, and how the blog will benefit more (if it does) from that feature.

    For landing pages for example, I recommend FlexSqueeze. But it all depends on what you're doing online and what do you exactly mean by "internet marketing purposes"...

      I recommend that and Squeeze Theme. I prefer Squeeze Theme because you can do one column blogs.

      But they both have a killer feature - the ability to place optins in the header. With Squeeze Theme, the header appears in each blog post. You can do an optin in the header and a sales element in the footer.

      To me, the key with IM related blogs is the ability to MINIMIZE your visitor's options. You don't want him clicking on 'related topics' or comments or a calendar or categories or tags. You want him opting in, or reading your article and doing something targeted afterwards.

        Well said! I use the flexsqueeze theme because it removes the sidebar and there's less for the reader to click on.

    I absolutely love the Flexsqueeze theme. It's easy to change the colors, header, width of the website, font size etc with just a few clicks of your mouse. Plus it comes with built in squeeze pages so you can market your products really easily.

    There is a free version that you can try but it doesn't include the squeeze pages. Just type in "download flexibility 2 theme" into Google for the free theme.
