hello warriors, i registered for domain name today and i want to host it through hostigator.com and i dont know how to do it.can some one else tell me how to host it with them

    Use their live chat here HostGator.com Support Portal, and they can guide you step by step. You will most likely already need to have hosting through them too.

    You will need to get a hostgator account. They will then send you an e-mail with the nameservers. Go to domain management at your domain registrar and fill in the nameservers in the space provided. It can sometimes take 2 days for this to take effect.

    Its pretty straightforward.

    First, sign up for a hosting account with them. I recommend getting their account that allows you to host unlimited domains - you'll need it in IM.

    Once you've signed up, they'll give you their nameservers. Go to your domain registrar and point your domain there (if you need help with this step, let me know).

    Wait for 24 hours for the nameservers to propagate.

    Your domain has now been hosted with Hostgator. ALl you need to do now is add it to your Hostgator account (click on 'Addon Domains' in your cpanel)

    It is pretty simple and basic, sign up. You go to hostgator.com and press on the link that says Web hosting, then choose a plan that most suits your needs. If you have any doubts as to how to do it, their toll free number is on the top right hand corner of the page. They also have a live chat, they can answer all your questions.
