Buying email opt in lists and traffic

Hey Folks,

I am new to the game here, and for starting out, I was wondering what your thoughts are on buying opt-in email lists and traffic?

Has anyone here bought it before (any reccomendations on companies?)

    I would keep away from buying opt-in lists and traffic. Some years ago, "safe lists", a very similar concept, were all the thing, but they were a waste of space - everybody posting, nobody reading. You'd end up with your inbox full of junk offers and no sales.

    Opt-in lists are dangerously close to spam, and are anyway a waste of time and money. And as for buying traffic, I'm afraid that's one of the most common rip-offs on the internet.

    By far the best way to attract traffic to your site is through honest endeavour. It takes time and patience, but it's worth it. Give valuable information on your site, promote it through an ethical method such as articles or ppc (pay per click), and you will get there in the end.

    I have a friend who is an online marketer, and she strongly recommends buying opt in email lists and traffic. This ensures that you will be sending your ad to people who requested to receive offers and are interested in what you may be selling. As a matter of fact, my friend was the one who recommended me to the WF so if you want her info just send me a PM. She can recommend some of the services she has used and have worked for her.

    I now it's tempting fudomyo in wanting a quick route for new customers but, the hard facts are that, the majority of customers on the purchased lists will not be niche related to your website/business & therefore will probably want to unsuscribe, because they'll think you are spamming them.
