Can A Kind warrior help PLEASE.....

Hi I am building my first website and it is all based aroung one page and it is a list building page ......I want to add a page to my website so my subscribers can download their free gift.....which is a zipped plr product....how do I do this...... ok say my webpage is....
my freeproduct.com and I want to have a page that automatically lets them download a zip file ....this I would like to name myfreeproduct.com/zipdownload can anybody tell me how to do this through my file manager>? I host at godaddy.....

    1. godaddy is not the best host for internet marketing - it's plain bad...

    2. The file manager (on any host) is not really a HTML editor. You should try to download a free HTML editor and create your page in it. Then you could use the file manager to upload (although a FTP software is better).

    3. When you have your download page done (e.g. zipdownload.html) you should upload it to your host. It should have a link in it to your .zip file. This should be the thankyou page for your autoresponder form - or the confirmation page, depending on your settings.

    4. The .zip file should also be uploaded to your host.

        Like you create any other (hyper)link on the internet: using the anchor tag in your html file.
        (when a link to a zip file is clicked it starts downloading automatically)

            You upload it the same as any other file. Simply create the directory where you want it to be -

            yourdomain.com/yourdownloaddirectory/

            Navigate to that directory and then upload your file.

            If you managed to upload your page, this shouldn't be too much of a problem.

              by directory......do u mean folder? So I create a new folder and insert zip file in that?

                Sorry, but I can't understand how you're building an IM list before trying to get familiar with the basics...

                Anyways, here's what you need to do:

                -You need an FTP program (filezella is fine, it's the firefox ftp uploader)..
                -If you don't know how to use an ftp program, do yourself a favor and Google for some information..
                -name your zip file something hard to recognize, so no one download it without opting in (something like: filenamexyz345.zip

                -Upload your zip file using ftp program to your site root directory..

                -Now, your file is found on the link: http://yourdomain.com/yourzipfilename.zip

                this is the link anyone shall use to download the Zip file..

                (test it for confirmation)

                -Now, on your download page, put this link as your download link...

    Just go to your hosting company, GoDaddy, log-in to your cpanel,
    and look at their videos. That is your best tutorial, it their service,
    they will give you the best advise.

    One other suggestion, you ask for our help, but is your sig. file,
    you offer Andrew's course. Delete your file, you can't expect
    us to buy if you can't set your own work yourself.
