List Builders - Do You Use Image Templates In Your Emails

INTERNET MARKETING

To all you active sellers and cater-ers to list, when you send out emails and offers, do you use images templates or no? Any potentially unforeseen disadvantage to doing so? It just doesn't appear to be done very frequently and I was wondering why that may be.

I do not use images, I prefer to keep emails as plain as possible.

Oh and many email providers, ask you to click I want to see images before they load the message, which really bothers me, so I feel if it bothers me, it would bother them.

That was one of the concerns I was worried about, as it is sometimes a turn off for me, however having a good background in graphic design I think I can create some nice templates. Anyone else have an opinion? Images or no?

Never for the reason stated above.

The click to download images is a real problem.

The heavier graphics content your e-mail contains the worse it looks before you agree to download the images.

I do use HTML e-mails , a lot.

But purely for simple text formatting reasons.
