Hi All,

I am new at here. I want to launch my website on my article writing business. Can someone advise me how should I start with that and what things I should need to do to grow the popularity of my site?

Your suggestions are really appreciative......

Thanks in advance.

We need more info. What kind of site is it? You say article writing, but in
    what capacity?

Will you be like an article directory like EZA or are you going to be offering
article writing services to people who need articles or a combination of both?

Hard to answer your question with so little info.

Actually, I want to create my own site from where I can get article writing orders. Something like that not any kind of article directory.

Firstly, think of a domain name that you can use with your business, .com would be a good start.

Now either you can either use wordpress as your back end, from which you can get many themese already built and easy to install. plus with using wordpress there are thousands of plugin's that can be very useful for search engine ranking, making your site look good.

Or maybe get a wordpress theme designed by a designer from hire a warrior thread.

What i suggest you do is the following:

    1. Domain name
    2. Get hosting for your site
    3. get a wordpress theme designed and coded for your site via the warrior forum.
    4. once you have your site running, take a look at plugin's to help your site out.
    5. to get exposure why not create a thread in the hire a warrior thread, and sell your service at a discount rate until you have some good feedback and reputation.

Once you get the reputation and good feedback they'll be no stopping you.

    Hope that helps

Make sure that you register a domain name and pay for hosting on a monthly basis. Don't get free hosting because if you are serious in making this work, you must take things very seriously and do the right and necessary things.

Writing articles in a great way to drive traffic but you can not simply rely on it.

    You need to use:

    PPC
    article marketing
    Forum marketing

If you do these small steps to getting traffic, then you will do well.

      Hi,
If you can explain me the term PPC, it would be great. I actually don't know about this.

PPc click is a form of paid advertising - you will get charged for every click on your advert. The price can vary dependant on your quality score and niche.

Before you do jump into PPC(pay per click) I would suggest you do a little research. Even though it would allow you to have your site on the first page of google more or less instantly it may not be the the most cost effective way of advertising.

Read up about SEO - search engine optimisation - it will benefit you in the long run. You can not get instant results from seo as it requires patience, but when you do get results they are nothing far from sweet.

If your thinking about designing a website to offer your services then i would suggest you plan your website first.

Will your website require a login area for your customers?
how many pages will you need?

        and so on.

if its only about a 5 page site then i would suggest using dreamweaver - if your not familiar with dreamweaver then it can be a long learning process.

There are pros in using dreamweaver and other open source programmes such as wordpress and joomla.

Do some research and im sure you will choose the best way.

Since your just starting out, a suggestion instead of creating your own site just yet, might be to post a Warrior for Hire ad for article writing and maybe write an article pack or two and post a WSO.

You can figure out what type of article writing you want to do or what might work for you and then create a website geared toward that when you are ready.

Thats a good idea - but i would suggest that you do both simultaneously.

Make money from the warrior forum by writing articles for others and work on your website - this will make sure that you will be driving sales from your site in a few months to come. SO then you will have 2 sources of income - your website and the warrior forum classifieds section.

Just remember its not as easy as just getting a website and the sales will start to fly in - You will need to work on your seo. As mentioned my previous post , seo requires patience. Start asap and get it moving.

        Here's a couple thoughts.

Go to the WSO, and for hire section of the forum
and make notes of how people offer their services.

Also, take a look at sites that offer the services you want to replicate.
This should give you a simple blueprint to get you started.

        Above all, take action!

I agree but I would also add that you should get a descriptive and SEO friendly WP site and build it up over time while running the ad here at WF.

I'd suggest you take a look in the Warriors for Hire category on this forum and see what other article writers are doing. It's always easier to follow what others are doing successfully rather than trying to "reinvent the wheel."

Go to Google and type in content creation services and you come up with
        like 33 million sites.

Type other variants on that keyword phrase (article creation, etc.) and you
        will find similar numbers.

Go check the PR and backlinks of the top sites for all your main keywords.

What I'm getting at here is that you have TONS of competition.

What is going to make YOU unique? What is your USP?

Why should somebody use you instead of somebody else?

        Price?
        Quality?
        Turnaround Time?

Are you going to be doing this yourself or will you have a staff of writers?

If you're looking to freelance (do this yourself) you're probably better off
just going to the top freelance sites (where people are looking for work to
be done) and bid on some of the jobs.

Get some references and build up a reputation.

Then put a site together with those references and samples of your work.

If somebody put a gun to my head (and I've been writing for over 30 years)
I wouldn't try to crack this niche.

I wish you all the luck in the world.
