My first sale - from organic traffic!

Finally! I've made a few bucks with adwords and adsense, but this was my first sale from my own home-grown SEO efforts. Feels good!

My many thanks to all the Warriors out there and their great posts!

Mario

I'm a big movie buff and it's like Andy Dufrane said in Shawshank Redemption - it just takes time and pressure. I was in no way going to quit. It is not in my nature, but man it is not easy. I have two kids, a full time job, I'm a flag football coach...you get the picture. Hopefully, I can continue and make more sales.

Man, I would like to congratulate you !

For sure, it's the happiest moment when you're receiving your first sale/commission.

I would add another piece of message here... DOCUMENT EVERYTHING DOWN (For example, how you did your keyword research, how did you set up your campaign, how did you track your campaign, etc)...

You're going to love that because :

    1) Next time when you're referring back to your previous project, you'll see how did you grow in this online arena.

    2) You can then start to teach your son/grandson/dad/mum, anyone else to do like what you did.

    3) You can now document a short report and create a list with that free report! Or you can even sell it at lower price to start to create your own list! Don't forget that many people in the forum or the entire universe are not even making their first dime yet, on the internet!

    Hope that helps!

      Thank Aiden,

You are so right! Most people don't have a clue about this stuff. When I try to explain to my friends about IM they look at me like I'm crazy. I'm still a newbie, compared to most of you guys, but I guess there are still a lot of people out there who know less than me...lol

Maybe after a few more sales will come my report

    LOL !

I was having the exact idea like you had initially, when I made my first sale.

But after thinking for a while, I had decided to document almost everything down, because I firmly believed that, there are someone else out there, who wasn't that lucky as I did (lucky? Or perhaps, persistent )

Trust me, do it now, and then post that up in the forum, it will get you much more motivated. I made my first ClickBank sales on July last year, after studying about MMO stuff for around 3 years at that time. I wasn't making money at all before July 2009.

After posting my documented report on how I made my sales, many people were asking me how I did that, and THATS HOW I GOT THE IDEA where there are much more people out there who are struggling to make their first sale online. Don't trust me on that ? TRY THAT OUT on your own man !

You can make friends and even JV because of what you do, don't delay or procrastinate, my friend DO IT NOW..

You can read how I did my documentation in this locked thread : http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...d-newbies.html

    Hope that helps, Mario !

P/s : If you love this, then I humbly ask for a Thanks button from you

I created the site in December and started my SEO efforts in January. The site is on the first page of Google (for a low traffic keyword) and on the first page of Yahoo for a really decent keyword. So, it took almost four months, however, I don't/can't do this full-time. I think I could have done it much sooner if I could devote more time to it.

Nice analogy with Shawshank Redemption, that movie has such a powerful message behind it and it definitely falls in my personal category of the top ten films I have ever seen. Grats on your sales mate, just by giving that quote from that movie you inspire much trust for me all the best for your future sales

Nice mpx! As I just said in a earlier post, it is that first sale in an area that really gets the ball rolling. I think it's because once you know that something works, it really motivates you to not only keep moving, but to work more efficiently and longer than usual. Good luck in improving your income!
