To the OP, it's a long shot and maybe IM isn't the best way to go if you're brand new to this stuff, it does take time and plenty of mistakes.

If your friend can think of any services he could offer.. skills that he has which others would be willing to pay for..

He could sell a high priced item as an affiliate, he'd only need to sell a few to hit the target, but he'd also be pretty lucky if he did.

Offer an article writing service. Make him write effectively and quick, have him do backlink services, have him do link wheel services.

He can do all that and make the 2k quick. It'll be many hours of boring work but if someone really needs it, he will do it.

If you need quick cash. Sell things you already have. Use craigslist and eBay for quick sales. Sell a computer. A tv. Then use Im to make the money to get stuff you want back later on. It can take time. There's no quick cash gurantee.

This site basically gives you unsecured loans. It is like a charity but you have to pay it back.

If either you or your friend actually have good skills you can potentially make that much money in 2 weeks. It is time to head offline.

Start hitting up small business owners with how you can promote their businesses for them, and give them a better presence online. You can request 50% upfront, and if you are decent at proving your value to them, you have a fair shot at getting $2000 of up front money landed in a couple weeks.

You are going to need to work your tails off.

Guys we should give positive responses about who's in need. Well tell him offer some of his skills in some sites. Writing articles could give him fast money. If he's good at it. Article writing never been easy for a beginner.

Online or offline. Figure what he is really dam good at or can do (constructions, handy work, web design, anything). Get a contract that will pay 2K down at start of it.

As mentioned, some of these ideas are unrealistic. If someone needs to come to a marketing forum and ask how to make money, then they are in NO position to advise others about IM.

And also as mentioned, we can't advise someone about how to make money without knowing anything about them (e.g., their skillset). Not everyone can write, so "write articles" isn't always the answer.

Julie, what CAN your friend do? What are his skills? Can he do anything related to graphics, writing, programming, etc? If so, then I suggest he takes the initiative and join this forum. If not, put aside the idea of making $2k in a week without skills or experience.

Don't limit yourself to thinking of online methods. He may have better luck going offline -- doing some manual labor tasks (even things like car detailing, yard work, etc). If he's friends with some people who have work available, they might trust him enough to advance his pay and then let him work it off in the coming weeks.

Selling stuff on eBay or CraigsList is also a good idea, since almost anyone can do it (though those with good copy skills and those who have experience tend to command higher prices on similar items). If he's done this before, he might also consider helping friends and family sell their stuff online (i.e., consignment selling, where he gets a commission for selling their stuff).

Yes, it is realatively easy, IF you can handle yourself in a professional fashion AND you take a few hours to learn the basics. The fastest way to $2k from a standing start, in my opinion, is offline marketing. Your "friend" can make $2k from 1 to 3 clients through simple services like seo, directory submission and USP development.

Honestly, the amount of times I hear this that someone needs $2000 in about 2 minutes or they will die is ridiculous, just sell your car...come back and learn from the ground up...people are not going to just throw money at you

Articles is probably the way to go. Press releases sell for more so if your friend can write - and has talent tell him to start typing away ! Theres so many online forums like warrior that post wanted jobs for article writers, and thats not mentioning the freelance sites out there.

if they need it real bad, take it out of their retirement fund, if they have one.

Clickbank, do your homework find some good selling products then setup some landing pages on a few domain names and then promote your new landing pages the best you can to drive traffic, this is not the fastest way sometimes especially if your new, but keep your head up high or tell your friend to and keep going at it, you may struggle and have several down falls to whatever method you choose but done give up ever YOU CAN DO IT and with the internet and the right knowledge there is plenty of people out there willing to pay for services or quality products you just have to know where to look :-)

If your friend has a skill at doing something specific he can easily make money off of it. For me, it is relationship advice and tips.

Figure out what it is he is good at and he can write an e-book in about 5 days if he really pushes himself. Then he can use paydotcom and clickbank to get marketers (or joint ventures on WarriorForum) to sell it for him.

The best part is the fact that he can set his own price on his book.

I definitely agree with the people on article marketing and selling things on Craigslist and Ebay. You will be surprised what you get for stuff laying around your house.

Article marketing can be done with the freelancer websites. There are some that pay as little as $1/500 words and some as high as $10/500 words. See if your friend can get the ones that need lots of articles quickly. They should pay fast too!

I've been in IM for a few months now (although it's just an evening part-time job) and have netted $1,800 and some change. There's A LOT to learn and you need to take action. Your friend should have started the day before the day before yesterday imo.

I can't give you a "$2000 in two weeks" method... but if you'd like I can give your buddy a guide I wrote that's for people just starting to make money on the internet. This might be heard a bit bitter, but sure-fire. Someone doesn't get what he/she wants but what he/she deserves.

That 2k kung fu in a week is possible, but it is high-level kung fu. High level kung fu only can be done by well-trained body, and more important well-trained mind.

If I were you, the best I can do is prepare for the best and ready for the worst. If this accommodation is so valueable, I would try to borrow for trustful person (stay away from trouble, untrustworthy person). If not, I would let it go and rent small room for me to live.

Meanwhile, I would select the most effective and efficient WSO that suits me fit. Eventually, 2k per month would be piece of cake.

As far as I knew, website flipping is the fastest way to make money online. It need start-up costs though - hosting, domain, content, listing. If you're native english speaker it would be a lot easier (and cheaper) to write content.

Go talk to some realtors who may have houses sitting on the market and need the yard or the place cleaned up. Offer your services to the highest bidder. See if there are people who need someone to do their yards, rake leaves, move items. You can advertise on Craigs' list to get some customers. Organize a car wash for charity, youcan do this in 2-3 days. Sell water and hotdogs soda and potato chips on the side. Give a certian percentage to the charity... Make sure you do this. But Get some Signs offering in and out car washing, I don't know what the costs is in your area but in CA, you could charge $10.00 easily. People also tip you. How many cars is that over a week end?

The problem with using IM as a quick cash solution is that you need money to get started. You need "trial and error" money. I have never started a campaign that hasn't resulted in an initial loss. I am fairly new to the industry, and as someone who is fairly new I can tell you that there is too much to learn to turn a $2,000 profit in a week.

Imma give you a real method to make $2k in a week.
It will require work and a no B.S attitude...cant wast any time!

Go to flippa.com...find a website for example...$2k, keep an eye out for that website and search the web to find buyers for that website and ask $4k for that website.

Once you found a party interested in giving you $4000 for this website, take the money, purchase the website from flippa or wherever the site was listed and send the website to the guy who bought it from you.

Its basically website brokering.

I did it once and made a quick $4000 on a $12000 sale.
You got to be able to sell and you might want to speak via the phone to gain more trusts because obviously people wont just send you $4000 and assume your COOL and legit.

It requires work...it can be done!

You could always invite your friend to come online and ask for himself...

Seems like nobody's considering the possibility that the OP might just be kidding, which I think is more than likely. Either that or he really doesn't have a clue. $2000 in a week is a big deal and i'm willing to bet that at least 80% of all warriors haven't reached that limit yet.

Haha thats pretty funny, your looking in the wrong place if you trying to make money quick. The learning curve in IM is extremely frustrating and it had me pulling my hair out a few years ago. But this is a good place to start

sorry been busy had alot going on - firend ha now got loan off family member for the money - although still needs a better paying job - i will give him some of the wsos that i have purchased so hopefully it will help - whilst he needs money now - as his income is really bad $500 for 90 hours work - commission only - if he learns how to market online he will eventually make a killing providing he does it right - he may be coming to live with me till he gets a house with his family - ill show him this forum as well hopefully he will get something out of it

Apart from that, you can try pay-per-lead + ppc programs, that is usually very quick but like every affiliate network you dont get paid until the month after.
