So What is The Real Picture of IM -

It really amazes me that so many people think that you can spend 5 minutes on IM and become successful. I would like to take a poll to really break it down and shed some light on the truth.
I would ask those that consider themselves successful at IM (by your own definition) to give a quick break-down of your time.
In general where is your time spent overall by percentage:
Hopefully this will help those who really don't understand what the real expectation of IM is. The honest replies to this may also, for a short time, dis-spell the idea that their is "magic method" that their are so many posts looking for.
