I have 10 sites making $, but no time or interest in them. What should I do?

Hey,
Quick question.. What's the best way to leverage 10 websites/email lists when you have no time or interest in monetizing or selling those assets?

The reason I ask is because I'm too busy working on my passion, but I have HUGE lists that are undermonetized. I'm too busy to sell them (on flippa.com or anywhere), monetize or hire people.


I thought of finding a marketer to monetize/sell those assets and split the profits, but I've never done this before.


How would you go about it? Is there a website out there to find brokers or partners?


(Example of undermonetized assets: sites/email lists/facebook groups/etc ranging from 500 to 84,000 members making anywhere from $0-$300/mo.)

    If you have no time or interest in them, then it seems to me you would be best just to let them go on as they have.

    If you don't even have the time to flip them, then you probably don't have the time to spend with a "partner" that is going to run them for you, right?

    Maybe it's just better to let them go even if you could be making more from them?

    Just sayin.....

      That is a really good point. It really doesn't take that much time or effort to list your websites for sale and if you cannot spend an hour or two listing your websites then I doubt you are that motivated to sell them and a JV partner would be no use to you.

    how hard is it to monetize a website? ...just spend a day or 2 and be done with it, then you can enjoy the profits... until the necessary maintenance causes you to make less and less

      Again, I have no interest in doing the selling. I'd rather outsource this to someone who loves doing deals. I read the 4hww and I'm trying to eliminate/automate as much as I can. Thanks for your help though.

    This post in insane to me - they don't want to monetize , sell , or let expire their sites expire? I think someone mentioned a JV - that sounds like it might work.

      How can that work when the owner does not have the time energy or inclination to do anything with them, the only logical answer is to let them be as they are ot let them expire

    You are right now in one of the best places to get something like that off your hands.

    There are plenty of people that would love to buy a site that's already making money, and lists for that matter.
    Set up a WSO or something like that and I'm sure you;ll get offers out the yin yang.

    What are the details?
    How much are the sites making?
    Do you want to sell them as a whole or one by one?
    What niches are they in?
    Same questions for the lists

    Hell I might be interested or at least know a few people who would be.

    Why not offer a kind of partnership with 50-50 split, that way someone would be running the site and increasing the value, whilst also making you a hands off profit ?

      I just need to know how to structure a deal like this. I already have JV partners in mind. (Not particularly looking but I'm open.)

      Has anyone successfully done this before? (Or can offer suggestions?) I need a blueprint to follow.

    I would SEO them and rank them - its somehow a shame to have 10 good sites sitting there and no interest in them. It takes so long to establish some sites, so i always think twice whether i want to re-sell sites.
