I initially figured you guys don't like how everyone comes in and ask how they did it, which I could understand.

On the other hand, I personally find it motivating when I see that a fellow warrior has reached his or her goal and has achieved some monetary success.

        Then again, that's just me.

Im not saying he did or didnt, I just dont see the point of posting this here when theres nothing to be gained from it at all.

This is a community of like minded people. Sometimes we, as entrepreneurs, don't have people like this community in our lives. People get excited because their goals have been met and their lives have changed.

They want to share it with people that would understand.

It really shouldn't be this difficult to understand.

He has been a member here for a long time. It is the people that are new who posts this stuff you need to be a little apprehensive about.

If you don't like the post then pass it for one that you do like. No one owes you detailed information in every post.

              I agree with this.

The purpose of a community is to help each other out, motivate people, and acknowledge successes.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with either thread as many people will find it motivating, I just find it strange that you'd have a problem with this thread when you started one very similar yourself just a couple of days ago?

Guys. There is no Ebook, I'm not selling a damn thing on here.
    Know why?

The simple answer is, you DO NOT have to BUY anything to replicate my success!
The warrior forum has ALL the FREE knowledge you need!

Use it, that's what I did. I took action, used the info on here and built my own products. I worked HARD at it and adjusted as I needed to.

You either do the work and get the results, or you don't.
    Simple as that.

There is no need for me to go into detail how I did it, it wasn't magic, it wasn't anything special. I worked hard, took advice from all the great posts here and the result was success. You can do it as well.

While I take claims of 6 figure incomes on a forum with a grain of salt, I would agree that the OP is dead right that making a lot of money is about coming up with your own products.

Think of real product niches you can fill, it's hard to come up with but at some point during the day, you'll nail it.

Just work hard at it. I just started a new website selling a physical product in a pretty good niche, we'll see what the future brings - but there is no shortage of hard work writing content, articles, building links, etc.

I now have 3 real products/services that I market and sell that I developed myself - and none of them are about making money, internet marketing, losing weight, etc.

The money is in being unique, not joining an affiliate program with 10,000 other IMers.

Jay, don't listen to the complainers. I am happy for your success, and I mean that sincerely. I DO find it inspiring. So thank you for posting this. I think it validates the dreams of many because I do think that a lot of people wonder if it's even possible to make a fraction of that. Clearly, it can be done.

And the fact that you don't have any magic secrets is doubly inspiring. You're so right --- everything anyone needs is right in this forum. I sell my own product and I have not hit the 100K mark yet, but I'm on my way.

People often get praised for posting a thread celebrating their first sale.

So I don't see why this guy shouldn't get credit for breaking through the six figure a year barrier.

A first sale or your first six figure year, they are both milestones.

I make six figures a year already, but for anyone who isn't surely you should compliment the guy and be inspired/motivated to do the same.

If someone posted they have made a million in a year would I complain?

Absolutely not, I would congratulate the fellow warrior, I'd be inspired and motivated to work harder to go from six figures a year to a million a year.

Well done Jay, welcome to the six figure club

Congrats!! I hope you kept most of it! What I've found is that we make a really good income but unfortunately spend a lot on paid advertising so we're not keeping as much as we'd like...although we're still making a living and enjoying a pretty incredible lifestyle. How much (%) do you think someone in IM should keep each year? (The leftover % would be the amount of paid advertising and supplies, etc.) Just curious what you might think would be a good goal to set for profit margins.

    Thanks!!

I am doing exactly what you said you did and reading everything I can get my hands on. You don't have to like these types of posts and you don't have to hate these types of posts BUT as long as the poster isn't breaking any rules, he can post things like this.

There isn't much substance to this post and that's fine; it does give some readers hope and inspiration so what's wrong with that? While we as forum members need to be vigilant about people who abuse this forum, we certainly don't need to be seeing a booger behind every bush. Read what you want and ignore what you don't like.

Hey, here's a unique idea... why don't we all just be nice to each other? Could work, you know!

    Hi everyone

Well done for having a great turnover.

Everyone does things differently in this business. Some people talk about money, how much they've made, show income proof video's/literature etc.

Some people love this style, others hate it. You can't please everyone...

But I always say, it doesn't matter what your turnover is... it's profit. Cash is King!!!

Whenever someone shows you a video/text etc. of what they've earnt, please don't believe the hype etc. as you have no idea (unless they show you/tell you) what they spent to get there...

I have a client who turns over $500,000 a year - do you know what his profit is? $24,000. We all have overheads, however small, they all mount up...

Well done regardless, this post isn't meant to "have a go" just wanted to join the debate

Congratulations, Jay. I appreciate your sharing and celebrate your accomplishments.

I guess there are several kinds of people who frequent the forum. For me, I appreciate the sense of a supportive community of fairly like-minded people. I certainly benefit from the diverse advice and products that are generously shared (especially in the War Room), but my primary goal is not to leech off of my fellow members.

I see no problem with a member with a history with the forum sharing their success and expecting us to react more like a family than a tank full of piranhas.

Again, congratulations and thanks for sharing.

I wrote my signature on the screen with a Sharpie but for some reason it's not showing up.

Instead of asking about his methods.. Why don't you guys go and start working hard.. I guess that will help you break the $100k/year barrier.

hard work pays off.. If you are heading to the right direction, work harder than before.. This is the only key to success.

Someone told me a few months ago.. "Don't pursue success, go after quality and success will follow you blindly"
