Shouldn't I be able to do this?

So, I use 1shoppingcart.

I have a series of ebooks, 12 in all. I want to sell them $10/mo (for example) for 12 months. This way, if they pay, they get the installment. If they cancel, it ends.

I know how to set up digital downloads. I know how to set up recurring billing.

BUT why is it I can not find a way on 1SC or ANYWHERE where you can get a PDF delivered once a month automatically.

I wish there was a way that when they pay for the month on recurring billing, they get the next eBook to download.

Am I missing something? Does this not seem like a basic sales method for eBooks?

I am open to all suggestions... products, services, scripts, round about methods...

I appreciate your time.

That seems more like a fixed-length membership site model, where they get new content each month. You could use your autoresponder to deliver the content.

I want each subscriber to JUST see the book they are meant to get that month. So, at month 3, they get book 3....etc... And new members are always coming in.

is that possible with membership sites then?

You need a drip-fed membership script for that.

You set the time/intervals you want each membership to get their download.

If it's daily, they get day 1 on day 1, day 2 on day 2 of their membership.

When they cancel, you set the parameters for that one too.

You're looking for a dripped content feature.

    I think amember does this?

    Warmly,

Yes, this would definitely fit into the membership site model. This can easily be achieved by using an autoresponder. Set your first follow up message to get sent immediately. Your second to get sent 30 days out, your second to get sent 60 days out, third 90 days, etc.

Somehow though, you'll need to remove the subscriber if he/she cancels their membership. There are scripts out there that do this, or you can manually remove them. I wouldn't go the manual way...

Thanks. I think amember does do this. So, if I plug that into 1shoppingcart I should be all set... i THINK!

Hey, what a GREAT internet marketing idea for one of you Warriors! A "book of the month concept".... provide the service to set it all up for other IMers. Sell the fact that IMers can send monthly IM ebooks to their customers... and other at home publishers.

    Just MIGHT do that myself!
