How to Best Track Clicks and Conversions??

INTERNET MARKETING

I am launching an ecommerce site and plan on marketing it via various forms of promotion like PPC, CPV, Media Buys and Classified Ads

I am looking for a tool/software/script that can tell me exactly where every one of the clicks to my site came from

BUT ALSO... which of those clicks converted to sales.

Since this is my own site and not an Affiliate site, I am not set up for subids and therefore cannot use T202/P202 as they rely on subids for the tracking

Also, My chechout page is an https (secure) page and in reading the "fine print" over at AdTrackzGold...their site says they can ONLY track conversions on http (non-secure) checkout pages...and NOT secure ones...so I guess that rules them out?

I have found other services that JUST track clicks but none that can track all clicks from multiple ad sources and conversions as well on a secure checkout page

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated

Hey,

I am using Affiliate Prophet, and I could not be more than happy with it. It tracks sales, optin conversions, shows what keywords convert on PPC, cloaks links and has some other cool features. They have great support as well - highly recommended.

  Use Google Analytics. Its free and still the best Analytics software around. You need an adwords account for that tho.

Hey Guys, thanks for the suggestions...I'll check out Affiliate Prophet

On Google Analytics, even with an Adwords Account, will it track every sale back to the source of its click and every click back to the source of its ad regardless of weather the ad was run on PPC, CPV, Media Buys, Classifieds and so on?

I really just need to figure out EXACTLY Where every click comes from and exactly which of those clicks convert into sales
