Hey thanks all for the tips on here. I switched from MailChimp to Aweber and got things going.

Mucho thanks to CashCow (Lee) who gave me the kick in the pants I needed with her PLR report I could easily give away. Suite Jay put my new code in the special custom box. Love that man. I bought this website last year and he is still supporting it.

Somehow I figured out how to make a pop up box and managed to stick it on my website. It works! It will swing by and just out and out grab YOUR email as you visit my site! Oh come on - you know you have to have that report

Right now I am pumped and have that puppy set up to just capture every single time someone visits. But I am wondering what I should actually set it at? How many days between pop ups?

Also Aweber is good but I think better webforms would be a good idea. And for some reason I have to save everything several times before it actually saves.

    Good job on getting things done!

    Have not had any trouble saving things in Aweber.

    As for the frequency seems like something you'd want to test. If your traffic is very sticky then don't want to annoy them too much.

      For correctly what do you suggest?

      Right now it is just fun watching that pop up float by and knowing I made it and put it on there!

      But I keep thinking of the nitty gritty...do I capture more emails if it floats from the left or from the right...so much to think about

      No I did not have trouble saving the web form. I have trouble saving my autoresponder emails. I save it and then have to resave it several times before it actually saves.

        From your post, I'm assuming this was pretty recently? Earlier today I added a message to an AR series I have, and had to save it twice before aweber registered it. I've been with them for a few years and never had that problem before. I'm guessing it's a current glitch-you'll love them, I'm sure.

    Aweber is really good. I also didn't experience any problems saving the web forms. Maybe a fluke?

      I always thought that sending out emails to people who never subscribed was wrong and that you would have to first get their permission to send them emails? Because if people didn't subscribe to your newsletter, then you're basically spamming them with emails. Or am I wrong?

    You are correct Hanz. I am using a pop up box at my website that gives readers the opportunity to sign up to my free newsletter.
    No one is getting any emails they did not sign up for.

        One other question. When somebody buys your WSO, their email is captured automatically as you know. The one thing I'm confused about is that when somebody buys your WSO, they never gave permission for you to email them with more offers. They never subscribed to your newsletter nor opted into anything. They simply bought your WSO and that was it. A one and done deal. How does this process generally work? Are WSO buyers now your buyers for life until they send notice that they don't want to receive your emails?
        Or do you send them an email after they buy your WSO and ask them if they'd like to subscribe to your newsletter(promoting other future offers)? Is that how it generally works?

    glad that you have figured out aweber i must admit when i first used it a few years ago it looked rather scary. But once you have used it a few times you will do so with ease and wonder what on earth you worried about in the first place!!!
