Transfering a Domain

Ok so I purchased a domain today, and I am pretty sure I already know the answer, just for some reason, my subconscious is lying to me. (long story). Anyway, it is true that when you transfer a domain from the same registrar, all the info stays the same on the who is, with exception to the Owner, everything like age, etc..

I'm pretty sure as long as your transferring to the same registrar everything will stay the same.

So, for example:

Godaddy to Godaddy = everything is the same.

Am I just getting Paranoid.

    Yes, it stays the same, because the registrar won't change the info it sends outside, only inside will they change the account that has access to the domain. That's why it is so much faster. But I think that if you ask the registrar they will change the info, it will just take a while.
