Opinions please on if i am doing something wrong?

I have been doing IM for 4 years, I have my own products that i have sold hundreds of, I have hundreds of regular customers.

I have always done my best with customer service.

I recieved a PM from another warrior saying the following about a WSO he bought from me:

Really...an OTO for the .psd files. I wish I had looked closer at the WSO but I was really keen to dabble with an ipad site.

Too bad, I might have been interested in some of your other stuff, but not being able to trust you isn't worth the effort.
Now i was totally gobsmacked, for some reason my honesty and reputation was being put into dispute.

Just so you know, i sell sites that comes with extras etc but no where does it say it includes PSD files, i offer a OTO of the PSD files and 10 more articles, which i think is a bargain price and i have sold hundreds of these OTOs with no complaints.

I replied back and asked him to explain why i was being dishonest and this was his reply.

Well, the PLR I buy usually has the psd files included if they are available (and they usually are). I personally find OTOs manipulative and therefore make the seller untrustworthy...it's like selling me a sandwich and after I've paid for it asking whether it wouldn't taste better with lettuce and tomato on it. I'd rather know the whole deal upfront and, in most cases, doesn't effect what I would have done anyway.
People who had graphics made by designers will know that most charge extra for the PSD files and i am not making anyone buy the OTO if they sont want it.

It sounds like he is saying that all IMers that offer OTO's cant be trusted!

What are peoples opinions on this situation?

This has the potential to become a slangiong match so I'm going to keep to general points that I wish to make.

    1. You run your buisness your way
    2. People are entitled to their own opinion - e.g. some people love popup others regard them as spam)
    3. You presumably offer a guarantee
    4. The customer can decide if they're happy or not based on their own experiences and opinions
    5. You'll never change those opinions - an argument achieves nothing positive
6 An unhappy customer should be refunded and politely thanked for their interest
    7. Focus on selling and reselling to happy customers
    8. The customer will move on to other products and sellers

Honestly do not get yourself hooked up on one customer. If they are not happy then offer them a refund easy as that. You dont need someone going around bad mouthing you and its easy enough just to return their money to them.

I agree that people are entitled to their own opinions etc, but the reason i havent ignored this is because he was taking my reputation into dispute.

I wasnt starting this as an argument, i didnt name the person for the very reason that i was only asking for peoples opinions on the situation and not asking for people to say i am right.

They didnt ask for a refund but i always give one if people want them

    Launch Workshop is bang on.

    I'd only add one thing...

If feedback CAN help you with your business, take it onboard - because for everyone who DOES give you feedback, there are 10 also just THINKING it but not telling you.

    Kindest regards,
    Karl.

Any suggestion that OTOs are in themselves unethical, is over-the-top. Period.
