Can I use clickbank for wso's

After reading a few paypal scarce stories I thought it might be a good idea to have an alternative ready for my various wso.

I want a service that accepts paypal but does not require a paypal account of my own to get paid.

My first thought was clickbank I seem recall warriors using this before (not 100% sure)
The problem would be setting the price so it was a warrior exclusive do clickbank do coupons codes.

Alternatively would it be acceptable just to set the clickbank commission level so low that no one else would consider promoting it, making it only available thou the warrior forum.

Maybe I am being a little paranoid but I would like an alternative.

    why couldn't you ?

I see nothing in the terms of service/rules that forbid it.

I know some who use their own merchant account. Another alternative might be google checkout.

Let me know what you find out.

Just saw the rest of your post -

What you can do instead of the coupon route is just create a new link in your clickbank account for the WsO with the special warrior pricing. If your wso is scheduled to increase price after so many are sold all you have to do is log into your clickbank account and change that price in payment link.

You also may want a custom thank you page to redirect to after the payment has been made.

Yes, I've seen people use clickbank in their WSOs before quite a few times over the years.

As long as it is YOUR product on clickbank, and not someone elses, you should be fine.

My issue is not with clickbank terms and conditions but with the fact that a wso needs to be an exclusive offer or a special price.

If I just use clickbank as per usual people who aren't warriors, will be able to find the product on the clickbank site and I may attract affiliates who will promote the product. This put me in conflict with the wso terms.

If clickbank has an option for discount coupons or the ability to exclude a product from the products listing then it would be okay

you can set up a 2nd product that's not in the marketplace and set it at a lower price. set the commission to 0%

Would this 2nd product have to pay the 47 dollar (or whatever it is) Clickbank fee?

If not, I may use this method for my upcoming WSO, sounds like a great idea since I want to launch it on CB also.

Hmm, I have not listed anything with Clickbank yet, so please pardon my silly questions.

Do you mean that the first time you list with CB you pay 50 bucks, but if the same person then goes on to make a NEW CB account to post a completely separate and unique product, it then drops to 30?

You don't have to be a member of this forum or even logged in to participate in the WSO section. I have bought many things from there without even having an account here. I discovered the first product I ever bought from that part of the forum when I was doing a search on Google for a certain kind of tool. I don't think it's really meant to just be for members of this forum because if it were you would a least have to be logged in to view offers there.

Exclusive offer, uses a promocode. Why not use clickbank to promote as well?

Have you looked into e-junkie or payloadz?

They accept paypal, their both good with digital delivery but I'm not sure how you get your funds from either (basically is paypal the only option with both), maybe someone who knows can answer.

Yes, you can use Clickbank. But I dont really like their refund policy so it might be worthwhile setting up a proper merchant account. Paypal is another nightmare company I wouldnt deal with. Easy refunds and they tend to freeze accounts. Get a proper merchant account with your bank and you wont have as many hassles.
