Newbies, are you looking for advice?

damn wish i had skype, lol. Yes I think alot of new people are having alot of problems and figuring what to do, I think the key as everyone is saying is stick to one thing get the hang of it and make it successful and then try it again, rinse and recycle, but there is just so much out there and problem is where to start, i posted some stuff in craigslist without spamming it, and trying something as we speak now like giving away something for free. any advise you can give would be useful, I like to be successful enough to finish up my college school and send my wife to college as well and pay off the house in 10 years lol. I just need to get on the ball and thanks for you time in helping out the newbies I can say for someone like myself I would apprerciate it.

I appreciate your interest in working with Newbies. I certainly qualify. After a couple of years of reading every ebook I could and reading - and biting on - many, many tutorial/coaching promos, I'm finally 'getting serious' about this. (Witness my joining this forum)

I'll try to be brief. (I'd just written a more fulsome post which got blown out when I went to subscribe to the thread before completing the post.) For starters, I plan to market a short list of affiliate- or licensed products related to real estate dealing and investing, subjects I've been writing about and teaching for some 10 years.

I will use my own material - hundreds of pages of original copy, audio tapes and, more recently, videos, as lead generation material for articles (a few already published on eZine and my own blog).

I have an existing list of about 1200, with about 25% open rate, developed from my present program (ref. my urbanrehabber web site). My plan is to build my list with further article/video publishing, the use of one or more Hub pages and, at least for now, ad-swaps. I've subscribed to aWeber and will have an auto-responder series in place before I step up my marketing.

Working with my daughter (the expert), I'll also be exploring the "wellness" field/niche. She's a certified, message therapist and a highly qualified yoga instructor. Here, I plan to follow the same general strategy.

So... That's the plan, at least for now. I look forward to your ideas on both the initial niche selection(s) and marketing plan.
