An Old guy new to Internet Marketing needs help!

Hi guys!
At the behest of my friend, he suggested I write an eBook about how I make money flipping art. I'm an art dealer by trade and have been flipping art for quite a long time. My friend also suggested I make an Affiliate program so he helped me make one through Clickbank, but now I'm not really sure how to interest people in promoting my book?

Check out my landing page here:

www.MakeMoneyFlippingArt.com

and my affiliate page here:
Affiliates, Sell the eBook - Make Money Flipping Art!

Thanks and let me know if you have any suggestions!!!

Alex

I would suggest a re-design to the website,

however, what you need to do is attract the antique selling markets.

Start in some forums, draw into the discussion with a link.

Offer the product for free to a few website owners of this market, and discuss potential joint ventures.

Thanks for the reply, what exactly would you redesign about the website? I.e. what do you think it's missing or lacking?

      Thanks again!

Your site formatting isn't within the general HTML standards
we use for salesletters. I suggest black text on a white or
off-white background in general. The furthest towards blue-grey
I recommend is the hexadecimal color #ffffff - though I still
prefer white for backing most of the letter.

I'm not just stating personal preferences either - black on
white consistently results in more readership and higher
comprehension in most tests run by the advertising industry,
so as a rule of thumb it's a good standard to stick to.

Your copy should be fleshed out more. Your concept is
sound. I think your bullets and closing argument are
      kind of underwhelming.

Affiliates want a strong sales page and assurance that it
converts. They also want exciting emails they can send
      and things like that.

So any color between #ffffff and white. I get it.

go thru clickbank for sure, and then go on skype and try to look for some big names in the JV biz who may have a subscriber list in the art niche...

I also know of some people who build lists of 100's, evern 1000;'s per day to their lists in ANY niche, so its all who you know... I suggest you get on skyp eand start mingling with art niche JV's

I think it needs to be organized more, and have a different header approach. You need something to catch my eye, and the free chapter offer should be above the fold, but that's my personal opinion.

I would suggest you start blogging about what you do, that will help you position yourself as someone in authority in that area. You can get a wordpress blog setup for very little, blog about the subject in itself and start generating interest - the audience who takes interest in what u do will be your future customers. On the back of this you can create a subscriber list, then your on your way. Hope that helps.
