Is this worth $200,000? Internet Marketing Uncut

Interesting auction I found on sitepoint....wondering what everyone's thoughts are...

http://marketplace.sitepoint.com/auctions/47917

$200,000 for a site that made $600k? Sure it was a launch, and that's over...but there's got to be so much potential with opening it back up, marketing to the list, etc... $200k seems like a good deal, if it is legit...

Those guys at sitepoint are being a little rough on Tristan. lol That's to be expected. I would just delete half those comments if I was him.

I don't see any mention of a list. He mentions 200 affiliates though.

Could be a good buy for someone who is experienced in IM. He says he'll let it go for less than $200,000. That's just the BIN price.

I think you are correct. The name sounds familiar to me.

edit: Just did a search and yes, the seller is a WF member.

No list, no love. You can safely mark it down as having virtually no traffic and only 2 mailings in Filsaime's list - for a product that's already launched and likely already grazed the same list?

If you've got your own sizable list sure - Another option would be to break down the $1997 product into several smaller products selling them individually if possible.

There's a reason people do these things so watch yourself!

There is a lot of rough comments on sitepoint because most of the users are new to IM.

Tristan Bull could do a relaunch along Frank kern's style and rake in the moolah instead of responding to inane comments.

It's worth $200,000 if you had the same contacts and resources he had to re-launch it.

There is a risk that everyone who wanted it already bought it in the launch. There is no guarantee that it will continue making money.

The problem is also, you could create a product like that for a lot less. Even if you paid 10 gurus $10,000 each to help you.

He would be better off making it a membership site or ongoing product and establish some consistent revenue before trying to sell it.
